This was our first time visiting Coastal Flats and our experience was excellent. We had a party of 3 for dinner and made a... reservation for a Saturday night. It was very busy in the restaurant, but the vibe was fun and high energy without being tooloud. We sat inside the rather large dining room, but they have outdoor seating and a small bar as well. After ordering drinksour party shared the Hot Spinach, Parmesan and Artichoke Dip. This was very good and a great dish to share. On the waiter’srecommendation we ordered two Pecan Crusted Trouts and one Hickory Grilled Chicken Breast. Both of these dishes wereoutstanding!! Additionally, I always appreciate a waiter that does not recommend the priciest item on the menu. Overall it was agreat dining experience so if you are in the Fairfax area, be sure and stop in! Everything tasted great and the staff was very nice. If I were to change anything I would ask for a heavier pour with the... cocktails, and less salt in the food. I could feel my heart rate increasing after my meal, and that was with a salad. But I dohave to restate how good the food was, especially the two noodle shrimp salad. I highly recommend it! Read more
Excellent food and service all around. Waiter was very friendly and didn't have to wait too long for good. Fish was very rich... and flavorful as well as soft! Lobster roll was spot on and tasty. Appetizer was a crab and guacamole type of dip which wassurprisingly very tasty would highly recommend. As always the bread here is amazing, super soft and the garlic butter wasphenomenal. Read more
Very nice selection of seafood. The well managed staffed and service rivals top level resturants. The Deviled Eggs, Yucatan... Shrimp and Smoked BBQ Salmon are a must! Read more
Absolutely love the place ???????? The seafood here is AMAZING ???????? my fav was the Tuna appetizer and Mahi-mahi special. Our... server (originally from Turkey but didn’t get his name) was very professional and his recommendations were spot on???????????? whole staff were super friendly and professional which proves managment are doing well and the chef and kitchenstaff did a great job in creating well balanced tasty dishes that were on the table in a very reasonable amount. Loved it. The food was great, although my salmon was overcooked when it was brought out. Probably my fault because I did say I... like it well done. They promptly made me another one and it was delicious. Our server was amazing. I wish I could remember hername. ???? I will definitely go back when I'm in town. I had lobster bisque and the salmon.
