Tried their lamb samsa today - absolutely heavenly! I ate every single little crumb of flaky dough and the filling was plentiful... and juicy! This place is awesome! They have a little international grocery store and a bakery with daily specials. This is a cozy shop with a cafe inside. I really liked the service. The attentive lady at the checkout told us about everything... they have in the cafe. I really liked the Olivier salad (they call it Stolichniy ), as well as eclairs. The only thing that isstrange is that there are no price tags on the goods. OMG, this place is a true heaven on the East Coast! Everything we tasted was super delicious, specially their shorqogal (flaky... bread layers with savory stuffing), green pie qutab, and Napaleon cake! This is my go to place when I want to have Turkish coffee and a light/delicious breakfast. I know it looks just like any other... Azerbaijani grocery store but it is more than that. The a la carte menu is amazing. My favorites are the baked goods and salads.Breakfast plates are big so these are made for two; it comes with bagel, eggs, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers, olives, honey,and butter. My first time visiting. Heard great things about it and Had their food year ago when my sister in law brought it as a gift. It... is such a cute place, and has awesome decor. Lot of great options from former soviet union countries, especially fromAzerbaijan. Ordered several items and they were all amazing!!!! The customer service is top notch.
