The pizza is excellent- crispy crust, mostly fresh topping (don't care for the canned mushrooms), lots of cheese, etc. I haven't... had the pasta or subs as yet. Tonight I ordered a pizza (excellent as ever) & a half antipasta salad. I would hate to see whatthe whole one looks like. It was more like a small side salad with lettuce and a strip or 2 of meat & cheese. I asked for addedonion tomato, & cucumber. If the last three ingredients weren't added there would have been nothing to it. & it was highly overpriced for what you received. It should have been $3 to $4 cheaper. I highly recommend over any chain pizza or olive garden Verona's is one of the best small business pizza/ dinner locations... around! We started out trying their cheese pizza, which they knocked out of the park! The chicken Alfredo is wonderful, and camewith garlic bread and a side salad. The chicken Parm was just as great, if not better! Just tried their buffalo chicken pizza,awesome and not overwhelming with too much topping or sauce on the pizza. This is now our go to place when we want to go on adate. I pick up dinner here, go home and enjoy with plenty of leftovers for the next day. Read more

First time ordering food from this establishment and everything was 100% excellent!! Highly recommend!

I'll start by saying I normally only order pizza from here which is pretty good. I've actually never had bad pizza from here.... The pizza sauce is a very basic sauce but good. Went out on a limb tonight and ordered meatball subs(there are 5 of us so weorder 4 meatball subs and chicken tenders plus extra meatballs)because the pictures looked so good. Unfortunately, I have togive 2 stars because the meatball subs were so bad. The bread and cheese were ok but the meatballs frankly were inedible forme....everyone else took a bite or two as well and couldn't do it .... had to throw them all away. The chicken tenders weregood so because this was dinner we ordered some more chicken tenders and everyone else opted for McDonald's. If you want somedecent pizza or chicken tenders this is a pretty good place. Staff is very nice but I have to say after a lengthy conversationabout the meatish meatball subs and spending $80 plus a tip altogether they offered no compensation at all ,not even apercentage off next time, not even $2.00 off a next order I don't see there being a next order as there are many more options. They're very generous with their toppings portions and it was delivered to me fresh and hot.The wings, however, were a little less than enjoyable. I ordered them naked (sauce on the side) and they were quite crackly anddry (possibly overcooked.) Decent experience overall; it was my first time ordering from here, but I wouldn't mind trying moreof their menu items in the future. Read more
