Food ordering on kiosk was annoying and there was a lack of options for toppings on certain sandwiches and not even a full menu.... I?m from out of town and haven?t been to one of these in years. Staff was not welcoming. Had to pick up our own food from theback counter instead of it being brought to us. Worker put spoons for our milkshakes on a visibly dirty counter top and when Iasked for her spoons that had not touched the counter top she glared at me and reluctantly got me more spoons, as if I wasinconveniencing her. Then they got my brother in laws milkshake wrong and he had to go back to the counter and stood there foraround 10 minutes before someone even came over to him. Also, the paper straws are terrible. They get soggy so quickly. We foundplastic straws on the back counter and used those instead. Food was alright. Wasn?t hot but not cold either. I love the food, but their customer service at this Steak ?n Shake has gone so downhill. I went to Steak ?n Shake last Friday... and they forgot cheese on my burger. No big deal. I parked and went inside. The cook looked at me as I walked in the door andyelled ?ugh!? then, I?m assuming the manager, walked up to me as if she was annoyed and asked what I needed. I was really tryingto be nice and told her I think maybe the order got rung up wrong and asked if they could just put some cheese on my burger. Thewoman took my order to the cook and she started trying to argue that she didn?t mess up my order. They fixed my order, I left tomy car and told my fiancé what had happened, not even angry just wowed how rude they were. He was upset and called Steak ?nShake, asking to speak to the manager. He told the manager he didn?t appreciate how I was treated and they hung up on him. Iused to work at Steak ?n Shake and I?m no stranger to rude customers, so i get having a bad day and understand the abuserestaraunt/service workers go through, but you can?t treat customers that way, especially when it?s so uncalled for. Food is good but two out of the three times I've been here recently they've mistakenly given my shake to a different customer.... My impression is there's miscommunication between staff. Not the smooth and quick experience I'm used to at a Chick-fil-A orRaising Cane's. Read more
The people at the window have terrible customer service. We made a mistake and thought we were missing an item and politely... asked for it and I guess one of the cooks who made our meals came to the window and instead of politely helping us and lettingus know we had the item, she was very defensive and starting having an attitude with my little sister who was trying to gainexperience ordering her own food, bobbing her head in a way and had a snappy tone. Directly talking to my sister in the backseat so I know I?m not mistaken. It was very trashy and disrespectful. Read more
The service at the drive-thru was excellent. The young lady was very professional. I haven?t been to the beavercreek location in... a few years but the new straws for the milkshakes and the new burger packing/ design is a total 180 degree turn in an excellentway. Food wasn't appetizing at all, staff wasn't the friendliest either. Meat was dry and the fries were overly salty. This used to... be one of my favorite restaurants to visit no matter what time it was, now, I'd rather make the drive to Wilmington and go toDairy Queen where at least I know the food is going to be hot, tasty and delicious! No smoking ???? Service dog friendly ????????? Wheelchair accessible & friendly ? I really enjoyed steak 'n Shake I think they... make some fantastic hamburgers. Most of the time I liked their French fries too but this time they were a little sloggy and theywere missing seasoning. This time around I had something happened that has never happened to me at any drive though. Is myhamburger wrapper as well as my hamburger had a big hole in it the size of someone's thumb. To me that's unacceptable I don'tknow how the person could not have seen that they punctuated before they handed it to us. The staff were friendly and kind thedrive-through was fast. Food tasted fine. They used to cut the Frisco melt diagonally but I guess they don't anymore. The fries were lackluster. My... husband's bacon on his burger was undercooked and super salty. Everything is ordered by kiosk when you come in. No wait staffanymore. Seems like the crowds have gone. Read more
