I am a regular here because it is great bar. They have food, awesome bartenders. On the weekend they have karaoke. They... dartboards and a pinball machine. The best part is a back patio that is covered and had a BIG screen tv. In the patio you cansmoke as well. There is a lot nice people that come here. Me and my friends are here often for the plentiful karaoke nights. It's always a fun vibe, no creeps to worry about, tons of TV... screens for gameday, decent selection of beers with friendly bartenders, a kitchen that gets your food out hot and quick, darts,and foosball in the large smoking patio out back. This place has been here for nearly 40 years and it smells like it. Tanya was friendly and accommodating, getting the game I... wanted to switched to a screen near the table I moved to; moved to after sitting at the bar and not even being acknowledged. The1/2 order of nachos for $9 is weird math when a full order is $12 but it was plenty of food. I thought stopping in at an oldhaunt would be cool; sometimes, you shouldn't go back. Read more

Neighborhood bar, sports pub, or raging community center? How about all three. Players has a couple locations, this one is at... the corner of sunrise and fair oaks, below Carmelita?s. On weekends they host karaoke, and they also seem to host gatherings forspecial interest groups in the outdoor patio. With tables lined down the bar, allowing access to the many screens, from justabout any seat, it is perfectly set up to allow you to sing along in karaoke, or catch your favorite game on one the tvs. Thebar located in the back of the place, has some of the friendliest bar staff I have ever met. It?s a nice feeling to have themremember what you order after just your first round, when there are 200 people there. But then again, maybe I?m justmemorable. In any case, if you enjoy a local watering hole, with a cool vibe and nice staff, come check it out for yourself.Parking can be a bit wonky due to the location, but there are plenty of spots most nights.
