The pastries at a different approach to where are they are not too sweet but very delicious. They are what pastries should be... like. The breakfast is also amazing. Will be coming back. Read more

My 1st visit .. Great place. Delicious food (Open face Steak Sandwich). Fantastic service! Will definitely be back ..
Great Hidden Gem of a Cafe. We came here for the first time last week, they seemed a little short staffed so we came back to... give the place another chance as the food was pretty good to begin with. Boy are we happy we came back! You can?t beat theirprices and quality of food, the second time around it was also a different story with the staff, all inclusively a 5-StarExperience. They also have amazing pastries and cakes which we have not had the chance to try, but we used to be regulars atEttores in Sac and this offers a comparative alternative at half the price. A+++++! Delicious food, friendly & fast service. Decor on the inside is a bit bare, however there are super cute tables outside that I... would?ve chosen if the weather was warmer. Come check them out! I will be returning Read more
I wanna give this place 5 stars but not just yet....it needs some major improvements, with food as well as the establishment.... Food was good but could be even better with just a bit more improvements. The staff was super friendly and sweet, it was hersecond day working and she made sure we were well taken care of. I will come back and hope they perk up the place to make iteven more esthetic. Read more
'21/9 1st time review, but years-long customer: -- Always consistent, quality food/presentation. -- Decent menu choices for this... upscale cafe with indoor/outdoor, breakfast-lunch-dinner dining and helpful/attentive wait staff. -- At time of this review, they're in the process of remodeling: while several pastry display cases have been removed being replaced by more indoorseating, we have been assured we can still custom order a lot of our favorite delectables. The two remaining cases displayed 2types of filled puff pastries, one type cookie, 2 other types, about 5 types of layered cake slicea, and a sampling of whole, custom cakes. -- Stop by to check out the outdoor seating: unique, glide, covered, kid-friendly booths (various sizes seating2-6 per stand-alone unit). ++ Note 1: requires step up into seating, and some oomph to get it to glide. Child friendly, pleasing. ++ Note 2: While seating is wrought-iron fenced in, it is backed up to busy Winding Way with a do-it-yourself car washbeside. On weekends, this makes for a noisy background. -- Parking: very tight, small lot adjacent to stand alone building.Mobility impaired could find it a challenge to negotiate. Read more
TLDR: I found a hair on top of one slice of cake, all 4 slices of cake I ordered were *extremely* dry (they very likely have... been left out on display for about a week or more), the morning potatoes that came with the classic eggs benedict were clearlyovercooked and burnt, the lemon buttermilk pancakes were dry and tasteless and they were very stingy with the amount of lemoncurd syrup that came with it - AND they forgot/neglected to include any maple syrup. The classic eggs benedict, on its own (notconsidering the burnt morning potatoes), was actually really good! It's such a shame because everything else that I ordered(Lemon Buttermilk Pancakes and four completely different cake slices) were a total letdown - especially the cake slices. I havenever, and I mean never, had a worse experience with cake as I did here, at Mirabelle Cafe. To think that all the pastries intheir display case looked so nice, pristine, and mouthwatering - but then when I got home and was excited to take a bite out ofeach of them, EVERY SINGLE SLICE was OLD and DRY. It was disgusting how old and dry these cakes were. I immediately called andasked for a refund for the 4 cake slices, to which the person who picked up my call told me "Well the cakes I have here are niceand moist," to which I simply reiterated that the slices I received were just extremely dry. I felt bad for asking for a refund, and I've never asked for a refund on cake before, but at the same time, nobody should have to pay for old, dry cake slices. Theperson then told me to call back within 5-10 minutes, as he had to speak to his manager about it first. I called back after 10minutes, and he told me he was still looking for his manager but that he would void the $17 I paid for the 4 cake slices. I wishI could give this restaurant more stars but honestly, I'm not sure what to feel. The man who greeted me when I picked up myorder was kind enough, but he was also coughing all over the cakes when he boxed them up for Read more
