Got snow all morning but once it cleared up, we headed on over to Willow Creek for lunch. Great views of Evergreen Lake. Got a... nice cozy table near the fireplace. If you like hot cocoa, you gotta have one here, it comes with vanilla bean whip cream ontop, yum! The squash soup was really flavorful . Wife had the pulled pork sandwich which had a great smokey flavor and had alittle kick to it as well. I had the fish and chips and it was exactly what I was looking for. The server was great! Highlyrecommended for lunch! Read more

Can’t beat the location, that is for sure! The restaurant patio and many of the window seats overlook the beautiful evergreen... lake. Our brunch here was pretty delicious. Our burger came with a side of seasonal salad with apples, prunes and light but onpoint dressing! The potato side with my Denver omelette was my favorite! The multi-colored fingerling potatoes were crispy andhad some Parmesan sprinkled just right! Good place to come for brunch or lunch when you are visiting the area. Read more

I had brunch at Willow Creek Restaurant today and it was pleasant, relaxing, and nourishing to both body and soul. Lilla was our... server and was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful with all my questions about gluten-free options, since I haveceliac. It was a gorgeous setting with delicious food for a mini-family reunion. Thank you Lilla! ?? Read more

I really love the food and atmosphere at Willow Creek, and have enjoyed eating here several times. I've noticed some complaints... about the service recently, and so I just want to explain that the vibe here is a mix of both upscale and casual, in case somepeople get confused. Evergreen is a small town, and this restaurant moves a bit more slowly than what some people may be usedto, but that's really the point of it. You're supposed to relax, have a glass of wine, chat with your server, and enjoy theviews of the lake, not expect your food to be delivered immediately within 10 minutes of ordering it. If you want fast food, goto one of the drive-thru chains that are up the road. The chefs here take their time because they really care how your foodtastes. The menu is custom designed and changes often, bringing in new and imaginative flavor combinations, and many of themenu items are hand-made on site, or sourced locally. This is a great spot for either brunch or dinner, especially after a dayof boating or fishing at the lake, and it is arguably one of the best restaurants in Evergreen. In addition, some people missthis, but there is also a cute little shop area where you can purchase pantry goods like local honey, as well as other pre-madetakeaway items, even if you don't have time to stay for dinner. Willow Creek is a great place to go whenever you are visitingtown, and I've never had a bad meal here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Also, if you go, try the Italiansodas, they are great! Read more

Unfortunately they won’t let me write a new review, so I have to edit my old one. I previously loved this place and couldn’t... wait to get back this spring season! Today’s experience, however, was subpar and disappointing. Despite having a reservationfor right when the place opened, our order was taken well after other guests arrived. At first, we were enjoying the niceweather and patio ambience overlooking the lake, but after 50 minutes passed by and we still hadn’t gotten our food, we beganto feel hangry. We couldn’t get ahold of our server, but the food runner noted that the kitchen was backed up (despite itbeing not that crowded and other guests getting their food before us). It felt like we had been forgotten about. When the foodfinally did arrive, it was dropped off unceremoniously. The presentation was notably lacking. My eggs were so undercooked that Icouldn’t even eat them. Not that anyone bothered to check or so much as ask how it was. When dropping off the check (which weagain had to wait for), our server still did not ask how the meal was. Acknowledging that the quality of the food and wait timeare not in his control, I did want him to know that he could have checked on us to make sure things were right. He basicallyshrugged unapologetically and ran away. I don’t mind paying $$ for food if it’s good, but I don’t need to pay money tofeel unappreciated and underwhelmed. I doubt we will be back after that experience, which really makes me sad. Past review (5stars, October 2021): Came here for brunch and the ambiance was great! Such a picturesque setting overlooking the lake. We saton the patio, which is super cute and large. FYI, they do not accept reservations specifically for the patio. I kind of wishthey did, because we aren’t eating inside with COVID. However, we made a reservation for 11 am (right when they open forbrunch) and then just requested to sit out there, which worked out well. There was already a line forming outside when we got Read more

Pro: 1)Beautiful patio overlooking a peaceful lake. 2)Perfectly cooked salmon, an add on to a most delicious Ceasar salad of... fresh anchovy, fried capers and crunchy & juicy Romain lettuce! 3) Impressive wine list 4) “ by the glass” a handsomepour 5) attentive waitress Cons: 1) the indoor place smells like a bowling ally; damp and bellowing of cigarette smoke. Like awet ashtray hosting a smoldering cigarette butt. Not a person in sight smoking indoors or the patio…. Must be the staff. 2)wine list though impressive is grossly overpriced. Recommend wine by the glass, a few good options. 3) could not shop the cutemarket with delightful offerings, because of the odorous cigarette smoke. My take away: good quality food, nice outdoorambience and if you are a smoker the odor of the place will not offend. Read more
