While visiting my daughter here, I took her here for dinner. The food was great and staff was friendly. We ate outside and was... very pleased with everything theybhad to offer here. I liked that the menu wasn't overly complicated and straight to the point.Would love to return when visiting the area. Recommend for sure! Read more

Why should tacos and Tuesdays have all the fun? ?? This was my first visit to Kalaka. I was craving a spicy marg, so I ordered... their signature Kalaka (skinny) and spicy. Yum! I?m giving them 4 stars due to the temperature of my chile relleno. It wasn?tvery hot and melty. The presentation was great, crispy fried texture maintained even with the jalapeño agave glaze. Loved thevarious textures! The black beans helped cut through the sweetness of the glaze. Would definitely visit again! Read more

This place used to be great..... and the food still tastes good. But they are skimping wayyyy back on the amount of meat they... give. I just ordered these fajitas and it's 26$ for 90% veggies and like an ounce of meat this whole container is packed full and yet barely enough meat for 2 tortillas Read more

Recently found about this place through a friend. What a gem! The micheladas are top notch. Great flavor served in a huge mug... with lots of tasty spices. The birria tacos are to die for! Did the traditional birria first and they were delicious. Tried thegreen birria tacos this time and they might be even better. They have a nice patio outside for the doggos too! We?ll be back.Thank gm you for the great service. ?????????? Read more

Excellent margaritas and many types. Good food, nice ambiance. The strawberry marg is fantastic! The trash can nachos are... popular, but I wouldn't get them again. They tasted fine, definitely have a wow factor, and are a huge portion, but they'remessy and most of the meat and cheese are below the chips. The tacos are delicious! Fish was maybe the best. You might alsoconsider carnitas and barbacoa. Of the 3 appetizers I've tried, the choriquezo was the best. Didn't come with chips, but theydo substitute chips for tortillas (no upcharge). Molé enchiladas are excellent and a little different than others I've tried.Carne asada was pretty good, maybe could use more salt. It's more like authentic Mexican than the usual Tex-Mex, but definitelyone of the best restaurants in the area. Read more

Great service at a popular local place. The street tacos were more "gourmet" than "street" but nit bad for colorado as compared... to Austin. The green chili queso just fair, the shrimp taco has 2 shrimp, all flavorful but didn't knock my socks off. Read more

The staff was amazing. Friendly yet personal and professional. I ordered the trashcan nachos to go. Ordering nachos to go can be... very tricky. Nobody likes soggy chips. Surprise! Their chips are so thick that they really didn't get soggy. Now I can't eat thewhole thing cause I swear it weighs 3 pounds. The brisket is tender and flavorful. The chips are thick and crunchy. Thedifferent veggies and sauce create a unique yummy flavor. Look at the pieces of brisket on these nachos. Read more
