Reviews for The Milk House Coffee Co. in Everett, WA
Try this place! Tried it for the first time a month ago and I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee, food, and service. The... flavor of the cold brew is so good. I have had some incredible sugar cookies here too. I tried a breakfast burrito this morningand it was delicious. I just had to write a review because this place is awesome! Read more
Wow. I first read about this place online 2 years ago after seeing it along Rucker Ave. I was so excited that a mile from my... house was a new coffee shop that wasn\'t Starbucks. For whatever reason I kept forgetting to go and try this place. Today mywife was actually in that area and while on the phone with me told me she was going to go there and bring me home a mocha. Now Iunderstand that a mocha isn\'t the epitome oh \"high class\" coffee drinks. Super excited I took my first sip and wow......Burnt coffee and zero mocha flavor. There should be a fine line between coffee flavor, mocha flavoring, steamed milk, andwhipped cream all meeting together as one to create a silk flavor. Instead I got burnt coffee flavoring. Thirteen dollars formy drink and my wife\'s iced white chocolate mocha which was described to me as \"ok\". I am severely disappointed. Also, itlooks like if you speak your mind and give this place an honest review the owner will give a sarcastic and disrespectfulresponse. So let me say this... Your place has a lot of great reviews. However, my experience stunk. I was rooting for a greatcoffee from you but what I got was terrible. Read more
We love this family-owned coffee shop. The staff is Uber friendly! The coffee is great and their teas come from a local store.... Last, their pastries are amazing! Most of them are made there... This is a great choice for a pre-work scone and latte, enjoy! Read more
Modern and unexpected coffee house in Everett. My iced Chai latte was delicious and the barista was a delight to talk to. Very... clean, great light, lots of seating space and outdoor seating. Read more
Wish I could tell you more about the coffee, but I can certainly tell you about the food! Eight bucks gets you a super-heated,... super-soggy, microwaved bagel sandwich complete with an undersized, preformed egg patty. Guess Milk House can\'t be bothered totoast a bagel or cook a proper egg for the prices they are charging. What\'s more, prices for most items are actually higherthan posted on the menu and have been for weeks, but Milk House hasn\'t bothered to change them. I might come back for a coffeeat some point, but I\'m still feeling quite burned (both figuratively and literally) from my first experience here.\n\nUPDATE: Iappreciate the reply to this review and the reassurance that my feedback will be \"shared with the team\", which I hope consistsof the owner and managers. After all, it\'s not the frontline staff that make decisions about what the menu says or whatproducts are put on offer. Also, \"local\" ingredients are not necessarily synonymous with \"good\" ingredients and the finalproduct speaks for itself. I\'m not sure I have ever heard someone exclaim that their preformed egg patty is superior to afreshly cooked egg simply because it was \"locally sourced\". I could get the same \"quality\" product at McDonald\'s and savea few dollars in the process. As for prices being a \"range\" as you state, it should be noted that prices traditionallyreflect baseline versions of things like drinks and items like your breakfast sandwich are fixed price, so that\'s not anexcuse. It\'s clear your baseline prices have gone up, but you haven\'t made that apparent to customers, which is disingenuous. With the addition of card fees, a customer\'s order can end up significantly higher than what they expect. I hope you willconsider these things and strive to improve your product and presence accordingly. Read more
Went in for a white chocolate mocha and I got a coffee cake, the place is cute and rustic, has bathrooms nice sitting area. The... customer service wasn\'t that great, and the white chocolate mocha wasn\'t the best. The coffee cake I thought was stale sincethe outer part was hard but it seemed like the crust was also possibly a sugar crust either way it was delicious and didn\'ttaste old. Has a few parking spots. I might\'ve not had the best experience and will possibly give them another shot. ifanything it might be a nice place to just stop by if I don\'t stop anywhere else first. I’m impressed with this Coffee house! The owners care to buy local products such as their Whidbey island bagels, and locally... sourced coffee.\n\nThe cafe is absolutely spotless and it’s clear to me that the owners care about quality. The food was greatand I enjoyed the coffee as well. They have a very unique cold brew system and I’m looking forward to trying that nexttime.\n\nLook forward to future visits! Read more
Good coffee and pastries. And a pleasant inside seating area. Socially distanced. Really great, friendly staff. Beats Starbucks
