I have been going to this restaurant for several years now. I hadn't seen a friend of mine in years and we planned on having... lunch in Everett. I suggested Mazatlan because I know we will get great and fast service!! My friend was very impressed with thevariety of items on the menu. She ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the two enchilada lunch special. Fantastic as always. Myfriend and I order take out with Grubhub at least 2 to 3 times a month. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you loveMexican food or are in need of food that is gluten-free. Lots to chose from. Read more

Best Mexican food in Everett. Great Margaritas, but the food is literally the best and most creative Mexican dishes I've seen or... had in a very long time. Read more

Good food. Chips and salsa were okay but salsa was a little watery. Meals all around were good. Service was speedy. No street... parking. You have to park in a small garage behind the restaurant. I'd go back. Read more

I walked here during a long break from work, and was pleasantly surprised by the decor and atmosphere! It seems to be a step up... from your typical family Mexican restaurant, with darker colors and ambiance, and this separates it from the other Mexicanrestaurants in the area for sure! I ordered something off their special menu and it came looking much more photo friendly thanother Mexican places! However, I would say that the cost to taste ratio is a bit higher for me, since overall the taste wassimilar but it costed quite a bit more than I'd expect. Regardless, this is a nice date spot while still offering Mexican food- classy yet still authentic. If I find the time to walk here again from work, I'll try other items! Read more

Having lived in Mazatlán, I was excited. They were unable to substitute Carne Asada in a chimichanga, which indicated to me... their food is precooked and reheated. My Picadillo Chimi had several huge chunks of dry meat. I had to shred it myself. Ifinished this terrible Chimi assuming the Chile Verde pork would be edible. Huge chunks of powder dry pork. My wife's "Mazatlandinner" was a $24 tasteless steak, microwave enchilada, and chille rellano that had no chili (reheated omelet). I let my wifeknow this place couldn't hold a candle to a giant Gatorade thermos of scary Chile Verde in the Maztalán slums. The waitressseemed ashamed of their food when I ordered. The salsa was edible, spicy, unauthentic, and the only sauce they have. Nothinglike Mazatlán. I wish the food was free so I wouldn't have felt pressured to eat it and pretend we were having a good time. Idon't understand the good ratings I read here. I don't know how to express my extreme distaste without seeming biased. I wouldrather eat day old unrefridgerated Memos 100 times. Read more
