The best barbecue in Everett or even in the area at all. Authentic Texas smoked brisket is their signature but the sides are... almost as good as the meal. And the cornbread with honey butter is amazing Read more

Had pulled pork meal, and it was so good. The lady who worked here was so accommodating as well, and very friendly. That would... 100% suggest coming here. They don't usually run out of stuff, but they can, so earlier is better. Meat was good, sides (mac ncheese + beans) were very decent as well Read more

First impressions are so important, and I can assure you J&L BBQ did not disappoint! The BBQ was perfectly smoked and cooked... (juicy, tender, and full of flavor). The sides were equally tasty. Between all of us we tried the beans, coleslaw, collardgreens, tater salad, and Mac & cheese. No skimping on the serving and everything was delicious. The cornbread though? Withcinnamon butter? Was an absolute game changer????. Apart from the food being delicious, the customer service was AMAZING! Thegals that helped us were super sweet and helpful. They both went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of consideringit was our first time eating there. We?ll definitely be returning! Read more

Decent brisket and pulled pork for the PNW but super dry pork ribs. To clarify as the owner said below - brisket and pork were a... bit on the bland side and not up to par with other bbq spots up here. Also check out other responses from him. Big thing tonote is many of their sides (coleslaw, beans, etc) are made using a premade mix as their base (confirmed by the cashier I hadwhen asking about scratch made sides). The two sides I had which were scratch made (corn bread and potato salad) were solid. Tomake it worse their bbq sauce uses sweet baby rays as a base to it. Pretty easy to identify given the sauce tasted like it hadhigh fructose corn syrup in it and confirmed when I walked by the kitchen on the way to the bathroom. I'm fine with the meatsbeing not as good as spots in the Texas and other parts of the south. However, the use of premade sauce as a base and not allsides being made from scratch takes away from the experience. Far better places in the area for a similar price point. Read more

Pretty good barbecue. I had the Tri tip sandwich with collard greens, which was medium-rare and nicely flavorful. The collard... greens was also pretty great (be warned, it has pork chunks). They don?t smoke the bbq in house, but they ship it in from theSnohomish location twice a day. Read more

Delicious bbq! Had the brisket, pulled pork, Mac n cheese and cowboy caviar. Everything was top notch. Best bbq I've had in a... long time. The meat was tender enough to cut with a plastic fork. Corn bread was dense, sweet and paired perfectly with cinnamonbutter. Mac was super cheesy and rich. Loved every bite and will definitely be back soon! Read more

Being from Kansas, I've gotten a little picky on BBQ, but this was amazing. The brisket, potato salad, hot links and corn bread... were great. I thought the price was a little high but for as much food as you get with a meal, it's definitely reasonable. Read more
