Took my 103-year-old Mom out to lunch here because it was easy to get a wheelchair in and out. Big mistake. It wasn't terribly... busy, but we waited a long time before anyone cam to take our order (or even acknowledge that we were there) and it then took 52minutes to get our food with no explanation or apology from or waitress. As we were finishing our meal, the manager did comeover to acknowledge the delay in receiving our food and, when asked what he intended to do about it, he did say we wouldn't haveto pay for our meals, but it was only with my husband's suggestion that he do so. My husband and I have both worked in therestaurant business and are very understanding about the many problems that can arise, but the lack of any acknowledgment ofthose problems is inexcusable. The waitress was awesome, I think this poor woman was on her own except for the cook. She had to keep an eye on the door and the... customers. This country would stop and starve if it wasn’t for the older generation like this woman. The cook also did a goodjob on the food. God help this country when we’re gone. This was, without question, the best simple 2 2 & 2 I've EVER HAD! 2 eggs over medium basted in butter. They were Perfectly... cooked. 2 links of delicious sausage, I asked for crispy hashbrowns and they were also awesome but it was the toast.. the 2slices of sourdough toast light butter that was the winner! I know, right? It was fresh fluffy bread with a crispy crust and theexact amount of butter. It made the perfect crunch when I bit into it after soaking up some of my egg yolk that just made mesmile! It's a simple breakfast but when I've asked for "Over medium and basted" before and I've gotten everything from hard torunny yolks. This cook knew his eggs!???? Our server was a joy.
