Beans, greens, potatoes...... You know the song. If you want southern food in any variety, treat yo self and come here. They... actually have a sampler plate where you can pick what you want plus a menu to order from. And so many desserts it's hard tochoose so pick a few and try them. They're was not one thing that was disappointing. Support this black owned and operatedbusiness. They are so sweet. It's also a good value for the amount you get, which is hard to find in the PNW. We'll be back forsure!!! Read more

This place has the goods! Variety that was not expected, so many choices to mix and match. Delicious. Friendly. And they make... their own desserts. They have their spices down! Fries are spot on ribs mmmm. And options for vegetarians, gluten free stuffthat I did not try but it is not just for meat eaters. The cornbread was most excellent. You will be full. Portions were not wimpy. These folks are doing a great service for their community. Read more

I ordered on Uber and the pictures were very inaccurate. The chicken was not bad but one of the sides was wrong and the other... was pretty bland. The cloud cake was small and the punch tasted like cool aid. The name in the app was different than thelocation name for some reason too, seems weird to do for any legitimate reason. The quality was definitely not worth the priceover all. Not trying to be spiteful but this was a disappointing experience. Read more

When you want soul food, this the right place! Everything was nice and hot! I especially loved the mural. Per EverettHerald.... Net-“The mural was completed during an event called Grill and Chill, where about 60 graffiti artists from around the U.S.visited Everett for a few days in the summer. It was co-hosted by Jason Grim, owner of Everett’s JAG ArtWorks, and a graffitigroup called Graffaholeks Northwest. The event was held in conjunction with “American Graffiti: From the Streets to Canvas”at the Schack Art Center in Everett. “American Graffiti” was a groundbreaking exhibit that explored how graffiti as an artform has shaped self-expression in the United States.- (for educational purposes, this article is listed in the The EverettHerald newspaper. And today, August 23, 2022, it’s been reported by The New York Times that “Ex-Detective Admits MisleadingJudge Who Approved Breonna Taylor Raid. Thank you DOJ! A minor relief for the family, a long time coming since March 2020’sraid at Breonna Taylor’s home. Read more

Where do I even start the nightmare that this place is. I came in to pick up an order I was ignored and side eyed as they walk... by for 10 minutes. Finally one of them come up and says they don't know when it will be ready could take 5 minutes or 30minutes. This was for an order that was ordered long ago. Then I find out they have like 4 other businesses in this place allwith different names for tax purposes. Then I ask again how long they start screaming at the top of their lungs for 5 minutes. After this point I canceled the order and walked out. My wife who was in the car deep in the parking lot with the ac going andwindows up could hear them screaming at each other in front of all the customers. I'm sure they are going to give some genericresponse that they are sorry and care about customer service but they really don't. Avoid this place. Read more

Update: I finally got to try their food! I wish I hadn't. I wish I could take more stars away. I ordered a chicken strip basket... and a side of Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese didn't show up with my order, so I didn't even get to try that. The chickenstrips were like chicken claws. Tiny, dry, gnarled... I obviously got the very end of a bag of frozen strips. The fries were alittle cold but it was delivery so that's fine, otherwise they were nothing special. The one positive thing I will say is thatthe coleslaw is awesome. It's got just a little heat to it and it was really something special. Unfortunately, a tiny 4ozcontainer of good slaw doesn't make up any points for two canceled orders and then missing items and really bad quality food. All around really very disappointing. Avoid this if you can and go to Pac South in Marysville instead. It should also be notedthat this restaurant goes by many different names. Grandma's in Da Kitchen, Deviled Soul Food, and Big Mama's Southern Table areall the same place and have the same address. I just ordered from a different name and didn't realize it's the same place...Hopefully it's better than what I got yesterday. This seems like misleading customers, I'm surprised Doordash allows this - ifthey even know. ------------------------------------------------------ I cannot order food because every time I try my orderis canceled because the delivery driver gets there and they're closed. Please fix your open hours on the delivery apps so thatpeople aren't constantly disappointed when they wait a half hour or more for food that looks great only to find out that nothingis coming because you're closed again. Two days in a row now my Doordash order has been canceled. This isn't a good way totreat customers who are interested in trying your food. Read more

This very legit southern comfort food restaurant serves up flavorful eats by friendly staff. The sandwiches are big on great... bread and pack lots of spice and heat but not too much! The green beans are great as are the baked beans. The strawberry pie isabsolutely amazing and must have. It's a perfect balance of sweet and richness with fresh strawberry flavor on a homemade crust.Prices are fair and parking gets tight when they're busy. Read more
