My youngest daughter and I Had a fun morning out , while vacationing in MI. We Started our morning at this adorable diner in... Evart, MI. The waffles were delicious! I took a few bits of my daughters. I had one of the omelettes with vegetables and hashbrowns. Omelette was huge, very filling! Hash browns cooked to perfect brown crunch. *****Edited****Food is okay. The burger pictured here is $12 with a few fries. It comes with two patties, but still not worth... $12. The Rueben we ordered with extra meat, came with more sauerkraut than anything else. It was $16! This place is okay, butvery overpriced for the area. Staff has always been friendly. This is our second time trying it out. It?s just okay for themoney you?re spending. Visit 03/18/22: We decided to give it another go. We ordered breakfast to go. 2 Hangover?s and an orderof French Toast and sausage. Honestly, it wasn?t very good either. Tasted very artificial, like the corned beef hash and gravywere from a can. They charged me a dollar to spend money at the restaurant $12 burgers that wasn't cooked and was still pretty Raw, less than a... handful of fries and the staff was rude. If I'm spending $12 for a burger and meal I don't feel I should be charged to spend mymoney there and I would expect the burgers to be fully cooked and taste proper and more than a handful of fries or at least ahandful. I want to make it clear, I picked up my order and took it home and ate it, I did not have it delivered and I wascharged for delivered to my house. But I was charged for delivery. I am putting this on here in hopes that the owner will openhis eye and get employees with the experience they need for them to succeed. I don't mind paying extra money for good food, butthis was not worth the money I spent. The owner made a comment on one of my posts about the extra charges. Nothing about theway the food was. We were passing through on our way back to metro detroit and stopped here for breakfast. What a treat! This was probably the... best breakfast we?ve ever had! Chicken and waffles and skillet and coffee, all superb! We met the owner - great person and toldus a little of the backstory. Love to give business to a family owned and operated place.
