I think I have found a new favorite spot. This place is in a 100+ year old building with tons of old school charm, if you stop... for a minute and listen to the Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra playing in the background, you can almost imagine the Goodfellasare meeting in the private room. Smitty's redeemed itself. Service has always been good but the kitchen seemed to struggle for a while. However, tonight was... not the case. The food was delicious! Highly recommend adding bacon to the Black Jack Chicken sandwich. If you are ordering aside make sure you get the Cream Spinach, phenomenal. Will definitely be back! Read more
Omg!!! The steak was cooked to perfection. The pasta and bread pudding is to die for. Kate was the best waitress we've ever had.... She never let the drinks run low, she was very helpful with what to order, she always came and checked on us at the right time(never with my mouth full. Lol) I'd recommend smitty's to anyone looking for a great steak and pasta place. The build isbeautiful and the patio has some great shade. Read more
My husband and I were in town on a small romantic weekend getaway. Doing a Google search for a romantic atmosphere, & because I... wanted Italian and my husband was thinking of a good steak, this place popped up. From the minute we pulled up outside of thedoor, we were impressed! We walk in and are greeted immediately and seated at a table in its own little cubby. That's when wemet Micah!! From start to finish, this man was ON POINT in his customer service and waiting on our table. Our glasses never randry. He stayed and made suggestions when I couldn't pick, telling us his favorites and what he thought we would love. We haven'thad a server like Micah in a very long time. We ordered the 22 ounce porterhouse steak, side salad, and fettuccine for myhusband. Potato skins for appetizers. And Chicken Parm, a side of chicken florentino soup, and a side of meatballs. Went for lunch with family and we were able to bring our dog on the patio! The staff, especially our waitress was so friendly... and we had great service. The food was good, and fairly priced! My husband and I shared the steak for 2, which also came withsalads and it was great. Read more
We had to wait much longer than we were told?40 minutes, but we waited 1hr 15 minutes because of a low staff, BUT it?s always... worth the wait no matter how long!!!!
