Took 20 minutes to get my order and I was the only person in line inside and outside. I made it to work just on time. I opened... my order to grab a bite before running inside. They had forgot my coleslaw. I called the restaurant and told them they hadforgot my coleslaw but I couldn't come back because I had waited for 20 minutes so was late but I would come in 3 hours. Shesaid, "no one was in line for 20 minutes and I couldn't have it in 3 hours unless I showed a receipt." I told her I wasn't givena reciept." She told me I was wrong. I told her I was only given change. She said without a receipt I wouldn't be given coleslawunless I came now. I told her if I come I will get angry. She said if you get angry you will leave. I went back and asked for mycoleslaw. The man who sold it standing by the lady asked for my receipt. He had just sold it to me 5 minutes before. She toldhim she came back give it to her. A kind man in line offered to buy it trying to deescalate the situation realizing theemployees were making it worse. After they gave it to me I admit I lost my temper. I was late for work and they were making melater saying it was company policy not to give me coleslaw even if I called and left my name moments after I had been there toreturn later and give the person on duty my information. Great service, I came during an odd time, so they had me wait just a minute so they could make fresh. Everything was delicious!
Placed order through drive-thru and they forgot half the order. My fault for not checking before pulling off. However, no one is... answering the phone and I'm not driving back. Funny part is the guy at the drive-thru almost forgot my tartar sauce and said hedidn't want me to return angry because he forgot my sauce. And I was none the wiser that they forgot the shrimps. Food is very good. Remember you are eating fish "deep fried" and french fries "deep fried" also. A lot of grease left over, but... it is tasty and with green beans and coleslaw make a good meal. Would I go back again? Yes, many times. Read more
Long John Silver's used to be one of the best places to eat! Nowadays though, each and every Long John Silver's I've been in, it... seems like they haven't changed their grease in many many years. Absolutely everything tastes the same. And as long as you don'tmind your face breaking out the next day or, hitting the bathroom about 20 or 30 minutes after eating there, I guess it'sokay. Gotta say, I still love the hush puppies (I got 10 of them on the side with my meal the last time I ate there and I wasonly expecting three or four) and, I will probably always love the lobster bites when they return! Got the coconut shrimp. It was great. Just sorry it's off menu already.
