It's your average Mexican restaurant. Nothing special. The service is lackluster. I think they did a very good job on the decor... And they keep the space clean. The food is very similar to most Mexican restaurants. There's nothing from here that I would sayany other Mexican restaurant wouldn't have. They do offer delivering via GrubHub or doordash. I'm not sure which. I wouldrecommend this place If you wanted to have dinner and not have to wait in line for a table. Other than that I would go toanother better Mexican restaurant. Read more

The food was good but very small portions for the prices. Ordered chicken on the beach (dinner portion) and received less than... the lunch portion for $12.00. Came with a tiny bag of chips for two people. Husband said fajitas were good but also very smallportion for $12.00. Also waited for food for a long time. There were only 2 cars in the parking lot. Expected more for amount ofmoney paid. Will stick with our usual Mexican restaurant next time. Read more

Food is excellent. I ordered takeout: fajitas, chimichangas, stuffed jalapeno poppers. All delicious with generous portions.... Alas, tortillas were forgotten or misplaced, hence only 4 stars. La Herradura is a hidden gem of authentic Mexican cuisine nestled in the near South eastern area of Evansville, near Barnes and... Noble. The value for your money is crazy, I got their House Special Sampler, two plates of amazing food for $11, never been toa place that gives you as much variety as I had for the price I paid. The meat is seasoned authentically (just same salt andpepper mainly) so I think that is confusing to some, but it's truly authentic that way without taco sauce or "taco seasoning"which is americanized versions of Mexican meats. The food came out quick too, we went during the week and had no issue gettingdrinks refilled and our bellies stuffed. Will gladly brind others here in the future, not only for the huge portions of food,but for the unique experience here in Evansville. Read more
