Reviews for Hacienda Mexican Restaurants in Evansville, IN
Got 12 Oz. Gaucamole first web site price was 5.99 Charged 10.99. Then get home and 1 inch down guacamole was black. Threw it... away would have taken it back but paid cash and not given a receipt. It is further to drive but will go to El Charro in future.Lower prices great food. The steak fajitas are huge. Eric from Lombard IL Read more

Hacienda on the west side is an excellent choice. They have two salsa, a green spicy and a red with heavy overtones of... oregano. They offer specials each day, wed. Was $3 off any chimichunga plate. They offer both refried beans and black beanswhich are delicious. Place is clean and the staff is pleasant. They also offer a bar area for adults. Read more
Service is usually very good. They bring out chips and salsa to enjoy while waiting for your food. I typically ask for their... green salsa as well and get a little of both salsa on my chips for optimum flavor. The ski flavored frozen margarita at thewest side location is beyond amazing. My favorite dish there is the shredded beef chimi. Read more
The food ordered was not accurate to the description on the menu. Flour tortillas tasted stale. Only reason for two stars was... because of the service provided. Very cozy atmosphere, but the food could have been much better. Read more
The flavors are bland and not authentic at all. All rice and beans were served in bowls and weren?t included with entrees. Okay... chips but Ketchup flavored red salsa and funky fusion eats. Street tacos were served burnt with a mild salsa, lime ranch and soysauce. Enchiladas were 90% cheese. Quesadilla was served wrong first but when corrected tasted okay. Food at best was edible.Waiter continually made the exact same jokes for each table about charging extra for any changes, was rather annoying. Read more
Food was ok, there are just better Mexican restaurants out there. The salsa is pureed but doesn't taste badly I just prefer... fresher. The server was excellent a very nice gentleman. If you want a good and cheap margarita then this is the place but otherthan that look elsewhere. Read more
Taco salad shell was stale, chips were cold, rice tasted like it was from a 90 second microwave bag. The red salsa is like runny... ketchup. Margaritas tasted watered down. I always get my hopes up for Hacienda and I'm usually disappointed. Also, don't seata family of four at a tiny table. Although there were 4 chairs, there isn't nearly enough space for all the drinks, chips, meals, etc. for four people. Maybe if the place was crowded and that was the only seating option. But there were tons ofbooths and we got stuck at a tiny table, while a party of three was seated at a booth. Read more
