Reviews for Firehouse Subs Green River Rd in Evansville, IN
First time going had the Jamaican jerk turkey. Didn't really care for it not sure what part of it I found that tasted weird.... Portion size is good. Wish the hot sandwiches bread was toasted as I feel it be so much better. I intend to try at least acouple different more subs Read more
Tonight I ordered the Jamaican Jerk turkey sandwich. With double meat and extra cheese. The Jerk sauce is so amazing. It comes... with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and mayo. The flavor profile is on point. Definitely check this sandwich out ifyour craving a delicious sub. Side note: they do carry gluten free sub rolls.. it only comes in a medium and their is a $2 upcharge for it. Read more

I had Cajun chicken and was not impressed. Food was bland. It was my first time. I won't be going back. I'll stick to Penn... Station. Even Quiznos is better. Read more
My husband went & got us lunch at Firehouse, today. He got us both the Smokehouse brisket and cheddar. OMGSH, it was the best... brisket sub I have ever eaten!!! So smoky and succulent. If I had to complain about anything, it was extremely overpriced & forthe price, they should give you more meat on it, for sure! $36 for 2 combos! This is the ONLY reason why I can't give a 5 star.Due to the price, my husband said he will not be back. We enjoy our weekend cheat meals, but we could have bought a wholebrisket for $40 & smoked it on our Traeger. Again, it was absolutely delicious, but not for the price. Read more
I?d eat here again if it were free. If I have to pay, I?d rather eat Subway. This isn?t even the same league as Jimmy John?s,... Potbelly?s, Quizno?s, etc. Everything tasted fine. Both of our sandwiches had a pleasant, slight sweetness to them. Neithersandwich had enough lettuce, tomato, or onion for our taste, but this is a minor point. The real issue for us was freshness. The bread was not made fresh, which makes a huge difference. Fresh bread is a treat, while day old (or more) bread is just okayat best. The lack of freshness continued with the salad, as you can see from the lettuce in the picture. Maybe it was a goodthing that our sandwiches barely had any lettuce on them. They didn?t include the cookie we ordered, so be sure to double checkyour order if you go. Check your veggies, too. Read more
