First time here, had a party of 6 on a Saturday at 5pm and were sat right away. We ate hibachi and the experience was great!... They entertained & interacted with our 15 month old, she loved it so much!!! I must say she was a bit grouchy before we gothere, so kudos ???? ???? We ate the grilled squid as an appetizer, even our daughter loved it! The hibachi teriyaki chicken andswordfish were both excellent ???? Food was excellent and good quality. Prices are about what you would expect. We shared a steak hibachi and two rolls and two... waters. Total was 50.00. While the food was good, our service and atmosphere was not as great. The entire meal felt very rushed.We went on a Saturday night. We left Newburgh at 6 so probably got there 6:15ish. It was our first time so we needed a little tolook at the menu. Once we ordered, they brought the soup/salad and not two minutes later, the sushi then the hibachi. We rushedthrough the soup/salad. One of the waitresses would come by and ask if I was done the minute I would take a bite and starttaking the plate. At one point, I was reaching in the middle for a piece of sushi and she wanted the plate underneath me and Ibasically had to stop so she could take the plate. Even my husband thought it was rude and doesn't notice things like that. Itmay have been because it was a Saturday night and they were trying to move us quickly. The hibachi area did not look as rushed.We had paid and left by 6:40. For a Saturday date night without the kids, it was not relaxing at all. Hamachi Kama was 5 stars The taste of the rest of the food is not to my liking. The Tonkatsu was so bad I didn't eat it, and... they did not refund me or offer to exchange it for something else. Nigiri was ok but not for the prices they charge. I wouldnot go back but would recommend you try it yourself. Everyone's taste is different. Read more

Pretty pleased with this facility. It was clean and staff was great. The sushi boat was similarly priced to other facilities in... E'ville and the quality was good. I'd say a little better quality on the nigiri than the competition and similar in the rolls.This place brought out the sushi fast, and it looked and tasted great. The chefs were flying! They have a lot of "cooked" sushioptions for those who are leery, and several dedicated gf and keto dishes as well for those who are looking for specific dietaryrequirements. Delightful find in Evansville while on a business trip. Saw the good reviews and I agree with them. There are classic hibachi... tables, a standard seating area, and a sushi bar. I ate in standard seating but ordered the hibachi filet and shrimp combo. The included ginger salad was refreshing and the dressing was very tasty- almost a creamy ginger. The meal was served very nicevisually and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The steak was also cooked to perfection but sadly my exact cut of meat was abit too marbled for me. Happens.
