My 2nd time dining here. The pizza with grilled pumpkin, speck, and hazelnuts was AMAZING. We both loved it! I love the... creativity and flavor. Literally perfect. My spouse said his pasta dish (which was spaghetti with italian bacon) tasted justlike how his mom would make it. High compliment. I <3'd my pasta (which was orecchiette pasta with spinach and garlic butter)and it was not heavy. Cannoli for desert which had fresh strawberry slices and mint as a garnish. It was so good. ???? extremely pricey, and NOT good at all. the eggplant parmigiana and the chicken we got were both extremely subpar, and very very... VERY much not worth the money. I am urging you- if you're reading this review and looking for good Italian food- don't go here. Read more
We went to celebrate my husband bday and it was a very nice play with friendly staff. Good wine selection and their pink sauce... is delicious. Their Tiramisu was great and it was free because of his bday! I will return to this place definetely. Read more
Me and my friend waited 30 mins after getting seated and no one came to take our order. People that were seated after us had... their order taken right away. No one looked like they knew what they were doing. The server that was supposed to be for ourtable said she wasn't even aware we were her table. The workers were gathered around the bar, talking. And they didn?t evenapologize for this behavior. The level of incompetence from the workers was absolutely unacceptable.This was the worstexperience I?ve ever had in any restaurant. Read more
Dinner here was fine, but nothing special to be honest. The wine was decent, but the food was inconsistent. Specifically, most... of the seafood was overcooked and somewhat rubbery in texture as a result. Noteworthy tasty things were the bucatini amatricianaalong with the Tiramisu which were delicious. After driving to Evanston from Chicago, we parked our car and arrived. The host turned us away saying the whole restaurant is... booked. There were three active tables. This was at 4pm. We came back at 5:15 pm and it was still empty. Read more
Tried it and will never try it again! We ordered the meat lasagne which is $18. The portion is small, bland and you can?t find... the three different types of meat. Also ordered a pizza with mushroom and sausage. Tasted like a premade crust which they addedcooked sausage and mushroom and heated it. It was also bland and flavourless. The food is tasty but the half portion was laughable for the price. I don't mind paying more but i expect reasonable portions,... exceptional service and a great atmosphere in return. We got none of the above. Service was average. And the atmosphere is veryplain and underwhelming. Never again. Read more
