Can't say enough good things about my visit to Kabul House. Knew of it for decades and finally made it, will be back! Super nice... staff, and the food was excellent. Flavors that popped from mantoo beef dumplings to aush soup that blew me away. Only to betopped by the kabuli Palau lamb shank with Afghan rice, rhe lamb fell off the bone and was so tender and not gamey as lamb canbe. The rice had braised shredded carrots and raisins that added a surprising sweetness that balanced the savory meat. So manyother menu items I want to try. Love the covered outdoor seating too. Fabulous! Invite yourself to a feast of taste, colors and music! Waiters are so nice and polite. The view is amazing. The... restaurant is right in front of a trail with mature trees, so you can go for a walk after treating well your stomach:) There arefree parking spots, too. Read more

Great place for lunch. Their dishes are simple and yet have robust flavors. Their tea is also excellent. There are number of... middle eastern food options within few miles but this is perhaps the only one that does not have fast food restaurant feel toit. Read more

Excellent food. Service is relaxed, seemingly on purpose. I appreciate that so you don't feel rushed and can enjoy your time... here. The place looks really nice inside. Definitely would go back. We couldn't decide what to get so we just ordered a bunch ofthings to share. Everything was fresh and delicious. Read more
