Do yourself a favor, forget Starbucks and any other corporate conglomerate coffee shop you are currently patronizing. Came upon... CURT'S CAFE during daily morning walk. Greeted warmly! Beverage menu extensive. Food menu offers solid choices for breakfastand lunch. Mocha latte and donuts we had were fantastic. This place is clean and cozy. Emphasis on customer centric interactionand fresh, quality provisions clearly evident. No pretentious size names and their prices are slightly more reasonable too.Their mission " CURT’S CAFÉ IMPROVES OUTCOMES FOR YOUNG ADULTS LIVING IN AT-RISK SITUATIONS THROUGH WORK AND LIFE SKILLSTRAINING." I got the boorito w/ sweet potato fries, a special for October ($12). I was there at 2pm so it was happy hour (all baked goods... 1/2 off) and got two mexican chocolate cookies. Then a caramel frappe to go (<$6). Well priced for the counter service styleplace. Food was worth it and the drink and cookies were excellent. Curt's cafe is a special place. Even more than good food andan inviting atmosphere, they provide a place for people looking to develop life skills and an oasis for people in turmoil. Very tasty breakfast, but because of a big Order from another customer we had to wait a long time before we got our food. For... compensation they gave us very nice cookies. Overall I would recommend it to other customers, because I think that the waitingtime would be much shorter on other days. Read more
Hands down Curt's Cafe makes the BEST yogurt parfait in Chicago and surrounding suburbs!!! Added bonus the cafe is run by a good... cause and gives back to the community Read more
Great Soy Lattes, clean bathroom, if its the last cup in the urn, choose something else! Free parking around the corner.
Food is great, and reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend if your in the area.
The latte was perfect and the breakfast sandwich was outstanding. Plus great service. Love this place. And their mission.
