Such a gem in Evanston! The ox tail and jerk chicken were both amazing - flavor and juicy. The sides which includes rice,... plantains were all so good that I would order it separately as a dish. The portions are also huge and fulfilling, I can easilyhave some left overs from one combination. There is limited seating in the restaurant (about 3 tables) so I would plan ongetting the food to go - it?s also perfect for reheating up at home. Read more

This was the best thing I've had to eat anywhere. My first time here was today. I got the Brown Stewed Chicken... Amazing. It... had a spicy and sweet taste to it. The curried cabbage and fried plantains were to die for and the rice!! No words can explainthe magic that happen when I put the rice in my mouth. Thank you Claire for your hospitality. My first time visiting Chicago and this was the best food I?ve ever had in my entire life! Everything was FULL of flavor, Claire... is so kind.
