This place use to be my favorite spot to order from. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the food and smoothies, and the... lackluster service has turned me off. The last few times I've visited, I had preordered my food and waited a little after thegiven pick-up time to come and get it. When I got there, the guys were standing around and my order wasn't ready. The guysworking behind the counter were moving extremely slow, so I ended up waiting way longer than the estimated pick-up time. Mysandwich (The Newkirk) was oversaturated with juices and mayo, wilted greens and tomatoes, and turkey bacon instead of pork. Iwent online to see if I'd maybe missed the part where it mentions turkey bacon on the menu and it clearly reads "bacon" not"turkey bacon" which can be a little misleading. That bacon detail needs to be stated more clearly because I absolutely hateturkey bacon lol. I don't know what's changed in the past year or so, but I hope they're able to get back to quality soon. Waited for 40 minutes for Macha Latte that I paid for. Reminded them twice and still never got it. 35 minutes to get 2... sandwiches. Staff is not paying attention. This place was good 2 years ago. It?s hard to imagine what happened to make it sobad now. Read more
I hate to bring my rating lower but the quality continues to slip. I've been eating here since at least 2013 and can remember 5... owners and a dozen staff but the newest owner and the new staff just aren't delivering. My sandwich took 20 min (4 people aheadof me) and arrived hotter than my coffee. Sadly, I think this will be my last time at Berry Pike. Read more

I enjoyed their breakfast sandwich! Trop Bon indeed! Will love to go back in here for brunch or just a quick coffee... run. Service was ok but can do better. Overall experience was good. This is a must try local breakfast place in Evanston. Read more
I visit Berry Pike almost every weekend? it?s probably my favorite establishment in all of Evanston. From their Rhonda on the... Fly bagel, smoothies, chai latte, and of course their waffels, I?ve never ordered something and disliked it. Everything here ismade with care and it?s a very personable business. I?ve only ever been treated with kindness and respect. I recommend BerryPike to everyone I know, I love it that much. If you find yourself in the area you should check them out!! Read more
A quiet, relaxing breakfast spot. The food is inexpensive and delicious. I'm a bagel lover, and my breakfast sandwich did not... dissappoint. Waffles are easily customizable and have a great texture, slightly chewy but still soft. I wasn't hungry enough totry one, but the chocolate brownies in a countertop display looked decadent. Ok food, terrible coffee. Had the waffle, decent but nothing spectacular. Food is served on cheap paper plates and plastic... silverware which makes it feel like you are getting food from a school cafeteria however employees were very nice. The coffeetasted like cheap instant coffee it was highly acidic, sour, with notes of black tar. Interior is not relaxing, with aamateurish and cheeky motif but with no consistent theme.
