Toki holds a special place in my heart. When my family and I lived in Evans we would always get Toki on Friday evenings. Since... we moved away several years ago it still has been one of the best sushi places we have ever gone to. My wife and I have enjoyed eating at Toki's on several occasions. However, on our last visit for dinner on August 19, 2022. I... witnessed who I presumed was the manager or possibly owner help clear an empty table. After he had cleared the dishes he cameback and very meticulously picked up undisturbed sauces that were in uncovered "to go" cups. He very carefully took them back tothe kitchen area which was in plain view of the dining area and set them down on a table. Another person came up and put lids onthose cups and took them to the area where "to go" orders had been placed. They were sending out unused sauces that had beensitting on a table where people had been eating! I called it to his attention by asking, "why are y'all sending out those usedsauces with to go orders?" He said something unintelligible and went and took them back to the kitchen but I didn't see himthrow them away. I'm sure he put them back when we left. I would be very leary of eating here from now on. I know costs are up,but maybe take only one sauce to the table at a time and make the customer ask for more if they need it. Read more
Small place in a strip mall delivering big flavor! TOKI is one of those places that you never knew existed, unless someone told... you about it or you just happened to turn in on the road it is located. We were having new tires installed at a local tireshop, when we looked behind the shop and saw this TOKi Japanese restaurant. I asked one of the employees at the tire shop ifthey had ever eaten there and they said yes, it is great, you have to try it, so we did. We have eaten there at least 8 timessince then and have never been disappointed. Food is good, tastes fresh and prices are very reasonable for what you get. Staffis always friendly and service is great. This place is. Definitely a must stop to try. You will enjoy it. We stop hereeverytime we are over on those side of Evans. Really enjoy it. Read more
Everything was delicious! I got the lunch steak & shrimp hibachi from start to finish Everything tasted great & was cooked... perfectly! The fried rice it came with was by far the absolute best I've EVER had!!! I definitely enjoyed my meal, price wasgreat and highly recommend it! Read more
This is a nice small Japanese habachi restaurant with an awesome sushi selection. The prices are great and the staff is very... friendly. I never had to ask for a refill on my drink and our waitress always came by to see If we needed anything. I recommendto come in for lunch. They are not as busy and they have cheaper prices. Personally, not seeing this spot as the most authentic Japanese restaurant. The sushi is a pass and there's no ramen as far as... I'm aware. Everything else on the menu is great though. The hibachi combos are phenomenal and a steak for their price. Greatserving sizes and flavor. Read more
