2022-05: Second time customer and still extremely impressed with this business, from the ladies working at the front/bar, and... gentleman cooking the food we took out tonight, to the cleanliness of the restaurant. Ordered some food to go and had a pleasanttime talking to some patrons and staff while we sat at the bar and waited. I was introduced to the Charros Dip by my friend. OHMY, SO MUCH YES. Try it, you'll understand. My friend had a Create Your Own Combo with a Taco and Tostada, while I had theCarnitas. I was stuffed and still kept eating. Such great flavor, portions, and quality overall. Charros Express Mex is a mustfor lovers of Mexican cuisine. A must. 2021-12: Came in on a Friday just as they were opening for lunch. The restaurant itselfwas clean , maintained well, and laid out nicely. Just the the right amount of tables in the dining area, as well as a small barif you'd prefer. They offer a drive-thru, which I will definitely utilize in the future. The staff was polite and friendly. Thepricing on the menu is a bit higher than what some are used to seeing, but the portions, quality, and taste make you understandthe prices. The homemade salsa and chips were good. The salsa had a kick, more than what you'd typically get at a Mexican typerestaurant around the area. We got the Street Tacos, trying a barbacoa, chorizo, and asada, as well as the Chili Verde.Everything was excellent! You can tell they use high quality ingredients and have a talent for making their food with a greatoverall balance of the ingredients within each item. Honestly, this was not what I intended on having for lunch, but the restaurant I wanted was closed. Sometimes things happen for... a good reason. I walked down to this restaurant and I was instantly intrigued by the tri-color burrito option! It was soflavorful and delicious. I will be back and I'll bring some friends with me! Read more
The food was out-of-this-world delicious. We had the Street Tacos (pastor) and Quesadilla Grande. We also ordered their spinach... queso - all excellent. I have severe stomach issues and have been unable to tolerate anything too greasy, highly processed, orheavy in starches including tortillas... as in terrible cramps after swallowing just one bite. But I was thrilled to discoveri could not just tolerate but actually enjoyed their steak quesadilla without any bad aftermath to boot! After so many attemptsI can only attribute this success to the fact their tortillas are handmade! I?m so happy to have found this little gem. We practically live there???? we love the food there. Everything we order its been delicious. The quality food is great! Service... is always spectacular! And it's close to our house. Can't get any better! We ordered 100 tacos for our daughter's birthday partyand everybody was constantly asking where we got it from cause those tacos was sooo good. Read more
We decided to try this place out because of the good reviews and it turns out they were right! We ate here twice in a week and... my local mother in law has been back again since we left. The carne asada street tacos are excellent. I also really liked thesalsa and my wife ordered the Ceviche both time. Definitely worth checking out. Read more
I have eaten here three times. It is pretty good. Here is my revuew for this visit: The salsa is tasty, not just tomato... sauce. The chips were crispy. I had a steak quesadilla from the lunch menu and it was delicious. I will have it again forsure. It also reassured me that they season and sear their steak well. The vegetables on the quesadilla was sliced thin, whichwas very nice. The refried beans were creamy and sufficiently seasoned. Read more
