Stumbled into The Madrone almost by accident last night. The waitress was excellent. They made me a pizza with no cheese. (I?m... lactose intolerant.) The pizza was excellent. Not that I?m the best judge, but the sauce was good and spicy, and they put a tonof veggies on it and it was great. They have craft root beer on tap, which was great because I had to drive afterwards. Also, their beer list is excellent. I don?t live here, but I plan to come back. Read more

Great wings, good pizza. The variety of salads is lacking, and their salads are a little strange. But if you just want wings and... pizza and brews, this is a good option, and there is often free live music downtown to enjoy while eating outside. Read more

Excellent staff! Great selection of beers seltzer cider and more. Brick oven fired food, tons of choices and we really liked the... prosciutto wrapped jalapeno poppers! Fun place to meet with friends and get a couple of pizzas and a pitcher or two. Also theyhave TV's wit sports and an outdoor patio. Thin style pizza crust lots of tasty sauces and toppings including chevre! Read more

Usually one of my more favorite places to grab a pizza and beer in Eureka. This visit was a miss. Overcooked food, beer... selection not so great. Hope next time is better. Less IPA and greater variety of darker beers would be nice. Read more

We went on a Thursday night which I believe they were having trivia night inside. It was pretty packed we asked if we can sit... outside but they were not let us they had one table left thankfully they sat us down and we got her orders the food was verygood the only reason for four stars is because we asked to be seated outside and they wouldn?t seat us outside although they didseat other customers outside when they arrived. The waiters can be a little more attentive to the tables no more water wasbrought napkins or silverware we had to get up and get those things. But I really love the food. I got the caprice salad whichwas very delicious and we ordered a few pizzas which were excellent very flavorful Read more

The food was only ok, they bake the wings so they're gooey instead of crispy. The Greek pizza was unusual, it didn't have feta... cheese like listed, instead it had cheddar which gave it a funky taste with the other Greek ingredients. Service was ok but notvery friendly. I definitely won't eat there again. Read more

Been in several times and had pretty much the same experience each time. Delicious food and friendly servers. Food takes a bit... of time so don't be in a hurry. The Chicken wraps are possibly the best deal in town, $7-8 and fully loaded with flavor. Iusually get the caesar but got the pesto one with goat cheese (chevre) and veggies. Very fresh, packed and surprisingly, I wasable to finish it, it was so good. Great selection of tap and other. I haven't tried the pizzas yet but here they areoutstanding. Well done, keep it up. We?ve ordered take out but this was our first time dining in. Definitely best straight out of the pizza oven. This is NOT fast... food so don?t go there expecting it to be quick. The pizza is thin crust and amazing. I got the Cesar salad that was veryflavorful and lemon forward, and had an ice tea with The Sissy (+pepperoni) pizza. My husband got The Duke pizza & IPA and weboth left full. So good, lots of beers on tap and nice easy atmosphere you can bring the kids if you?ve got em. As an emptynester I remember well how hard it is to dine out with kids at some places. You can?t go wrong dining at the Madrone. We willdefinitely keep coming back. Read more
