Great place. Clean. Friendly staff. Loved how the oysters were served. The rocks are a great touch. No puddle. No mess while you... eat. Read more

Food was delicious!...their filet was soooo tender, oysters were small, but yummy. Menu was surprisingly limited and not nearly... enough seafood for its location in my opinion. But again, delicious. Service was super friendly. Kitchen had a little slowerpace. My biggest issue was the atmosphere, specifically their dining room window shades. They do not adequately block the earlyevening sun at several of their tables towards the kitchen. We switched tables, and even positions at the second table, butstill the heat (enough to get a little sunburnt) and the glare kinda killed the enjoyment of the occasion. Read more
Had halibut. Husband had steak. Both well prepared, presented and portions were good. Wait staff were wonderful. Service... very fast and food lovely. Dining area cozy and bright which is hard to do, with nice street side views. Not inexpensive butworth the cost Read more
Wife and I ate here twice on two different weekends. Loved the crab cakes and cheese platter the first time, but scallops and... rock cod were over peppered, and we like pepper. Came back next weekend on a comp, which was a very nice gesture, but crabcakes were different and not nearly as good. Cheese platter was different, but still good. Coconut and carrot soup was veryspicy. Wife could not eat it. We asked if we could get a less spicy soup and we received a coconut curry soup with no carrot init. For entree, I had the short rib which was very, very fatty. Too much fat for me. Wife ordered scallops again but receivedthe"special", which was not great and not what we ordered. They corrected this quickly, but scallops were over peppered to thepoint of ridiculousness. On to dessert, chocolate torte... For me, the top layer was good, but the bottom layer texture waswaxy and I did not care for it one bit. My wife thought it was good, though. The breakfast pastries were some of the best Ihave ever had, so I am giving an extra star for that. In summary, if you like inconsistent, overly black peppered, and spicyfood, you may like this restaurant...I cannot recommend to anyone. Very disappointed, and really wanted to like this place... Very tasty high quality food, smaller portions compared to your average places for the price but very worth it.
The prime rib was incredible. My partner and I split it and still had left overs. The house made chocolate dessert was really... nicely done. I’ve gone for my birthday for the last two years in a row. Their happy hour is hands down the best in HumboldtCounty! Martinis for a fraction of the normal price and really delicious gourmet versions of pub food at really decent prices. Read more
