Reviews for Old Town Coffee & Chocolates in Eureka, CA
Excellent cold brew, and freshly roasted coffee. Great shop downtown with a wide variety of chocolates as well. Glad to see that... they roast their own beans versus some other cafes and shops in the area. Worth the stop if you're in the area. Read more
Since moving our office to Eureka I have been regularly going here. Things I enjoy, the Latte, Chai with Oatmilk, and the... vegetarian wrap. They have good food and great coffee. It's worth trying out if you're visiting, and if you're a local, support local, this place makes it worth it! Also the lines are never crazy, parking is always available in the morning, andservice is friendly and fast. Read more
Nice atmosphere to sit, friendly staff. I had a salmon bagel with capers and onions which was so delicious, I am still thinking... about it! Hot chocolate was one of the finest I had in my life too! Very recommended place. Prices are very fair! Read more
Best white mocha I have ever had! Not overly sweet and no bitter after taste! Just right! Great little place to visit!
Disgusting kid's burritos and bagels with can olives and the cool part is the energy and attitude of the guy taking orders... "white male with long blonde hair", he only smiled after he got $5 tip :D I hope you heal!!...will not go back nor recommend Read more
Old Town Coffee and Chocolates. Small selection of chocolates, less than enthusiastic personnel. Nothing wrong with the... chocolates. The coffee shop itself felt hectic. Not a place I would go for a relaxed cup of coffee. It?s not that it was busy,it just didn?t feel relaxing to me or my companion. To be fair, that could have just been us. They have outdoor seating at the FSt. location. Read more
Cute, inviting place to enjoy a coffee and a light breakfast. Right next to the main square of downtown eureka and easy walking... distance to many historic buildings and beautiful architecture. Ordered a Mexican mocha and the banana Walnut waffles. Havenever seen waffle "boats" like this but great way to serve with toppings. Mocha and waffles were tasty. I think I should havegotten a smaller mocha a I overdid it on the sugar. Beautiful photos on the wall worth checking out. Gets pretty busy so getthere early. Sidewalk seating available as well. Man, this place bums me out. I've given this place several chances and they always screw up my drink. If I order tea, they give... me some sorta weird latte mix that comes out of a box. If I order coffee, I'll pay the extra $1.25 for coconut milk but it'sstill dark and bitter like an old witch. Then I get some sorta asinine attitude like I don't know how to order a drink. Thechocolate there might be worth it, but I don't eat that; my husband likes the truffles. The only good things I like are thelocation, the old building that it's in and the local art that is on display. Read more
