Every time I come in the staff is working very hard simply because they probably aren't staffed enough. Cooking area always... looks a hot mess even though you can clearly see into kitchen. Noticed guy working in kitchen dropping items into fryer with nogloves as well as removing from fryer and putting in to-go boxes. Waited about 25 mins for my to-go placed in store. Got allthe way to my hotel and had Mongolian Chicken instead of Steak. Called store back and got hung up twice on. Finally got throughand they replaced but had to come all the eay back to pick up. I already sent a message via the PeiWei website. Very disappointed. Asian chicken salad was pretty crummy. Lettuce not fresh, ... looked like it had been frozen. Cilantro not chopped, had the stems left in. Red bell pepper was slimy. Hardly any chicken atall. When I brought the lettuce to their attention the employee just offered to make me a new one. why would I want a new crummysalad? No offer to comp the crummy one. Very disappointed in Pei Wei. Been here 3 times now. 1st time waited about 20 minutes for 1 dish, I didn?t think anything of it. Came back and waited 35... minutes, was the only one in the restaurant. Gave it a 3rd chance and I waited for 1 hour for one plate while people who came inafter me were getting their food. Finally got my food and the manager just sets it on my table and says ?Here? and leaves. Justsave your time and go somewhere else. Food is great but the wait time will make you mad I came back to edit this review tooafter I got my food. I love the steak fried rice and pork egg roll. I normally order crab rangoon in most asian restaurant but it was not the show... stopper in this one. It lacked flavour and over fried with all burnt taste at the edge. However, meat portion in fried rice wasdecent based on price. Read more
