Best of Eugene. So The Wheel is the homiest little bourgeois pizza joint I am aware of in Eugene. The prices may price out the... most tenuously financed, but they should save up. The vibes in the open kitchen are wildly positive. Laughter is common. Thebar-minding Montanan sisters Audrey and Sophia are competent, open and hilarious in ways that belie their tender years. Thebeers on tap are, in my opinion, uniformly excellent. One offering, ?Moonglow ? A Brett Solera Project? is exemplary in spite ofit?s pretentious name. It is possible, however unlikely, that everyone who works here is awesome. The wood finished floors,paneling, beam rafters, and countertops are beautiful and embrace the PNW aesthetic ethos effortlessly. They have the largestversion of the Allen Cartography map of Oregon available, the 4?x5?, on the wall. They have a vintage Wilco poster made justfor their trip to Eugene in 2012. They have, by the bar, a giant blowup of a 1982 dance party in the parking lot of the OregonCountry Fair on a year when the Grateful Dead showed up for the weekend. They have Wildcraft cider and craft sodas andexciting, beautiful cocktails that aren?t rushed at expense of perfection. Please believe! And attend. Best of Eugene. Read more
This is the BEST pizza joint in town! We eat here at least once a month and have never been disappointed. The pizza is... outstanding and my wife loves the Kale (yes, kale) salad. Great food, friendly staff. We got the Longbridge Hacker pizza. I liked the thin crust. We also got the special salad which had... beets, grapefruit, almonds, and fennel. Light and delicious. Great beer selection as well. Liked the roll up garage door so wecould be covered indoors but still feel like there was lots of fresh air circulating through. Solid spot. Read more
Some damn good pizza. I saw they called themselves New Haven Style, and I was a skeptical they could pull it off. Them... definitely do, the char was there, the crisp bottom there. Closest thing to New Haven Style, outside of New Haven! Read more

Pizza is made a little thinner, amazing crust, light on the sauce and oh so good. Their beers are great quality and variety,... brewed right on site. The eclectic, casual, indoor-outdoor vibe is great and you can fit in a little trainspotting if you like.Highly recommend! Read more
