I?ve been going to SuBo for a couple of years since my sister first recommended them. I?m glad the Eugene has a brick and mortar... spot it?s much nicer in winter weather. The bowls are the best value and a good way to try all the individual components. Myfavorite is the spicy tuna bowl. Make sure you ask for sauces they have a wide selection behind the counter. I tried the Subo in Springfield probably a decade ago, and was honestly pretty unimpressed. I recently gave the new Whittaker... location a try, and was really pleasantly surprised. The flavors are absolutely excellent, across the board. The meal wassurprisingly affordable for my whole family, especially given the quality. We will absolutely be eating here again soon. Read more

Pretty disappointed about the burrito I ordered tonight. I got the ninja and while i was expecting yellowtail and seared salmon,... my salmon was way more than seared, it was cooked to dry.. and the yellowtail was like.. maybe one bite of yellowtail in eachhalf the burrito? My first time ordering the ninja and I won't ever again. Haven't fixed my sushi craving (sigh).. don't orderthe ninja. :( Read more
This place is in my top 3 sushi burritos OF ALL TIME! Each has a thoughtful house-made sauce pairing, the ingredients were so... fresh it made me SMILE. Super good and messy. I got the crispy spicy chicken and it was delicious. I haven't eaten here for a couple of years and forgot... how good this is. Definitely recommend if you like sushi, or even if you don't. They have a few options without fish. Read more
This was my first time here. We had the garlic chicken (ask for the habinero sauce, if you like spicy), dragon roll (they were... out of spicy tuna- subbed spicy shrimp), and I had the salmon poke and added avocado. I would rate this a 3.5 star because Ifelt the food was a little more expensive than expected, but everything was delicious. Read more
