I am visiting Eugene and went here because it was recommended as a must-visit before I leave. I see why!! The ice cream is... AMAZING. One has to eat something from here before leaving Oregon. I tasted their Strawberry with Black Pepper, olive oil andthe pear with blue cheese flavors. They were all REALLY good. The strawberry one felt a little too strong for me because of thestrawberry (I'd thought it might be the pepper but that was perfect!). The olive oil was pretty much like vanilla but a lot morecreamy and buttery. The pear and blue cheese tasted exactly like what I'd wanted - not too sweet and definitely cheesy, fairlysubtle and creamy. Definitely the perfect choice for what I wanted today! P.S. also liked the fact that they give you steelspoons that are reused and not the wooden tasting sticks. Read more

It was one of the most amazing Ice cream experiences I have ever had. I tried most of them, and each had their own... personalities, if you will. The monthly flavors this month are weird, but comforting. I went with the Elotes inspired one. Sweet, savory, with bursts of grilled corn. Why it works? I have no clue. But I can't wait for the next weird one! Onlygiving a 4 because there is a few benches to sit on outside. With how well the place is doing, I would hope there were placesto sit and enjoy. Not buy and go. ???? Read more

UPDATE (06/20/22): They responded to this review and asked me to reach out to them. I have sent four (4) emails from the email I... used for the review and not one (1) response. I changed my rating to a one (1) since I can?t do zero (0). They apparently careless about customer service than they do about how they send you out the door with their ice cream. ORIGINAL: So we go in to buytwo pints to go. Nothing unusual. Done it a million times at a million different ice cream joints. Never have I ever received apint in a non-freezer safe container, let alone a cup with a dome lid and a sticker to cover the hole in the lid. Really!?! Thisfor $11.25. You are out your mind. Plus, the children you have working there have NO idea what they are doing. The second pinthad to be a packed pint. No biggie. It was for a last chance flavor. They tried sending me to the freezer 5 times. 5!?! I willjust say it for a two because the ice cream is good. Otherwise, terrible terrible terrible. Read more

Seeing what rhe hype was about and was super happy. My husband got the pistachio, rose water & mochi and I got the olive oil.... Their waffle cones are perfect. Everything was so delicious. I like you don't have to wait in line if you want to just get apint, in case it's super busy. We went on a Sunday about 6:30pm and no line at all. I'll get the olive oil flavor every time. You'd think it's pretty basic, but the flavor is tasty and just perfect for me Read more

I'm so excited to have a Salt & Straw Ice Cream Shop closer to my home. I was promptly greeted by a friendly employee and... offered samples of their unique flavors of ice cream. I choose their Honey Lavender flavor as it was definitely delicious andnot a flavor I would find anywhere else. I can't wait to stop in again at this location. Read more

I?m very partial to Prince Pucklers but I am glad to add this lovely spot to one of our favorite ice cream venues along with... Pucklers. They make their own waffle cones while you wait. They let you try as many flavors as you like and don?t rush you. Theyhave unique gourmet flavors. A bit pricey ($30 for 4 cones) but as part of an experience really worth it! Read more
