Fantastic food and service. Had the fresh rolls and satay. Let's face it, the satay is just a delivery system for the peanut... sauce to your taste buds. Awesome experience. Read more

I have eaten here before the pandemic and it was a good experience. This time was not. We arrived at the door to get seated At... 11:30ish. The hosted informed us that we could only sit for 90 minutes. I thought she said a 90 minute wait. But my wife set mestraight. This is something I have never heard of before anywhere. So we went in and sat down. Watched our waiter do his thingand ask all the same questions they ask. How are you, how?s the food and so on. We did not get this same treatment. We orderedthe pockets of love because they said they had crab in them. We got no hint of crab, just cream cheese. Nothing like a mouthfull of cream cheese to start your experience. Still no attention given to our table. The food was just okay. I had the Sabainoodle. (Pad Thia) says it comes with thin pad Thia noodles but they were angel hair pasta. Wife had the Thai pumpkin curry. Thepumpkin prices had to be cut up to eat. This is curry and they don?t provide knifes at the table. Over all this was not theexperience I was expecting to have. Then I realized I was wearing my work around the house clothes. They treated me differentlyand that is the real problem here. If someone comes to your establishment treat them all the same. You must to better. For 50dollars for lunch it better be as good as the food carts but it?s not. This place is over priced and thinks it?s better thanothers. We will not be going back. If you have money to throw away this is the pace for you. Read more

Excellent! One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Great flavor, good portions, and lots of gluten-free option. Win,... win, win!!! Read more

Nice location, when we checked in we were told we couldn't go in unless we agreed to a 1.5-hour seating. Hat was really... awkward, but we didn't expect to take more than an hour. We joked the 1.5-hour time and how they could have placed a timer onour table... Very nice ambiance, comfortable seating and fairly attentive service. Hot & Sour thai soup was outstanding andunexpected, teriyaki chicken was really good. Read more

I'm new to the area and when asking friends for recommendations, both highly suggested I dine at Sabai. Even though the... restaurant was very busy and short staffed, I was seated quickly without a reservation. My meal was fresh, tasty and exceeded myexpectations. The wait staff heard me mention today is my birthday and then surprised me with birthday cupcakes. Thank you, staff of Sabai for making my birthday so special! Read more

Located in the heart of Eugene and great selection of menu and drinks. A good place for casual lunch or anniversary... celebrations. We enjoy the atmosphere and also good quality of food. We are thrilled that even during COVID, the restaurant wasoffering creative menu for Togo orders. And now we are able to dine in again and enjoy the feast. Read more

I love the vegetable rich dishes. Veggies were fresh and not overcooked, which is a big thing for me. I cook Thai food... authentically, so it's nice to have a healthy an delicious Thai food meal where I don't have to cook. Our waiter was great, hewas super friendly, timely and professional. We didn't have a reservation, but we waited less than 5 minutes at a prime dinnertime. Which was unexpected, but appreciated. I know it's hard to accommodate guests who don't have reservations when in a dinnerrush. Read more

We visited from Southern Oregon. I had read many reviews. We made reservations before driving up as their website suggested.... When making reservations they asked if the 90 minute table limit was okay. I agreed to the 90 minute table limit. The followingday, when we showed up 5 minutes early for our reservation, there was a lady in front of us without a reservation wanting to beseated. The hosts never made her agree to a 90 minute table limit. The hosts peeked around and greeted us and we identifiedourselves and they told us thank you and asked us to wait. They then took the walk in with no appointment before us. This walkin was not wearing a mask either. Another guest showed up while we were waiting and he said that the other part of his party wasalready inside and they let him in also without wearing a mask. Once taken in, wearing masks, we enjoyed the simple moderndecor. It was clean. We ordered Chicken Sabai Noodles and Chicken Panang Curry. We also ordered 2 of their signature Lemongrassand Basil gimlets. They had no knives on the table. The rolled silverware included a fork and a spoon only. The knives wouldhave helped greatly with the chicken dishes. The food was okay. The gimlets were gross. We won?t go back. They were definitely alittle too precious and pretentious. Read more
