Here's my rule about restaurants and especially food carts: if I see you do something unsanitary, you lose my business... permanently. When I arrived, the guy at the window was sweeping the floor with disposable gloves on. After processing mypayment, he then prepared my fritters WITHOUT CHANGING HIS GLOVES FIRST. The OHA makes it very clear that this is a violation,but I would hope that this is something food handlers don't need to be told. It's too bad, because I've eaten there 8 or 9 timesover the past couple of months and I like the food. But I don't want my meal ruined wondering what the handling I _don't_ see islike. Read more
What a fabulous meal! Love the food in LA, San Francisco and Portland. But, have been hard-pressed to find good food in Eugene,... particularly Mediterranean! Got to say he hit it out of the park. Lovely presentation, fresh, and authentic Greek flavors. Thesalad was phenomenal; every single element worked. The chicken was amazing. Loved the rice too. The Gyro was very good! Some of the best Mediterranean food in the area. The prices are reasonable too, you can be full and have a few leftovers for... later. They also have specials which are really delicious and interesting, but do the fundamentals perfectly. The mezze boxesare my favourite offering, and the hummus is delicious. Highly reccomended. What a surprise! Stopped by here on my way home and was intrigued. Unbelievably clean and inviting place. The menu is simple and... yet amazing. The food is spectacular! Presentation is stellar. if you want seriously authentic and seriously delicious andnutritious Mediterranean food you have to eat here. I give it my highest rating. Well done! Read more
We love Louka?s! We had the gyro sandwich and the chicken sandwich. Great portions and the ingredients are high quality and... cooked with love. We also had the salad with fritters and it was delicious. We will definitely be back soon! Read more
New favorite mediterranean place! Fresh and local ingredients make it really stand out. We had the salad and added double gyro... meat (which is made in house with local lamb and beef), the appetizer plate and these awesome little fried honey doughnuts.Everything was delicious.
