Overall a very good experience. The atmosphere is fun but sophisticated and the staff are attentive. I ordered the seared tuna... with whipped potatoes and a frisee garnish. The tuna had a beautiful sear and was still fresh and rare on theinside...perfectly cooked. I had to drop a star because the table we sat at was wobbly and anytime someone took their arm offthe table it nearly spilled our drinks. That and there were these two little fruit flies that wouldn't leave us alone; we wereswatting at them for 2 hours through our meal. Food and staff were excellent, small annoying details didn't ruin our night butwere annoying nonetheless. Read more
This is our first visit to this restaurant. My Ahi Tuna was cooked perfectly and had rich flavor. The accompaniments were... delightful and the drinks, as others have said, were spot on. I dropped a star as my wife's chicken salad looked delicious, butthe chicken was slightly over-cooked and a bit dry. This is something that can be easily resolved with proper training andexperience in the kitchen. Read more
I think the establishment was very clean and trendy However the food was a bit a lacking in flavor and the wait for food and... drinks was a little slow, however it was prom night and Saturday evening after ducks spring game so that's understandable. First off, DEFINITELY make a reservation or don't go at all. Parking on the weekend is awful. When you arrive you'll be told to... wait or be crammed into what feels like a waiting room area called "the lounge" where you will be sitting elbow to elbow withtables as big as 6 tops located in basically the entrance lobby with tables big enough for 1 plate and maybe a purse. My spouseand I were seated here and were treated like trash as larger groups came in around us. Chris was the waiter for this section, hewas slow, unapproachable, forgetful and seemed stressed out/rushed, in his defense. The food and drinks came out very slow, butwe knew they were busy. When the food finally arrived it was PHENOMENAL! FIVE STARS TO THE CHEF!!! ???? We ordered the quinoasalad with salmon added that was cooked to perfection and had little bright yellow cherry tomatoes that were carefully cut inhalves that resembled hearts! We also ordered the shrimp pasta which had heavenly notes of lemon and authentic Italianseasonings with shrimp that were also cooked to perfection! Smoky, served with lemon the way seafood should be, and not tochewy, with a savory CRUNCH! The portions were generous, prices fair. The wine menu was intellectually thought out as there weresweet, dry and well rounded flavors for both red and whites. The food was creative, outstanding in flavor and beautifullypresented. The staff on the floor however ran around stressed and treating people like garbage probably from being overworkedand unappreciated? We didn't even recieve our water until we got our check almost an hour later, after asking 4 times for asimple glass each, which was highly dissapointing for such a well regarded establishment. i've been here a few times now and the service has always been attentive and pleasant, with the food being fairly decent as... well. i wouldn't say it's the best i've ever had but it's certainly not bad. the hot Italian and the pepperoni pizza are bothpretty alright. their fries are delicious. the French onion soup was OK. for dessert, you want to get the cheesecake. trustme!!
