I had passed by here many times but never stopped. Finally went this last Saturday and I'm disappointed I didn't try them... sooner! The carne asada street tacos were absolutely fantastic, very healthy sized portions and excellent flavor. Theydefinitely hit the spot. You can tell corn tortillas were made fresh. We just recently moved to this side of town and werelooking for a great Mexican food place, and we definitely found it. The waitress/hostess was very friendly and helpful, andanswered all of my questions. The ambiance of this restaurant is wonderful, and they have a cantina where you can have drinks.They have outdoor seating as well. My food was prepared with the utmost care, but also very quickly. It only took about 10minutes to get the 7 tacos I ordered. Definitely looking forward to trying some of their other menu items. 12/10, willdefinitely be eating here again. Price is in the $$ range. I was very much surprised about the amazing quality and Quantity for the price of the menu items. If you are looking for a place... to go out with friends at a manageable price this is definitely a great option if you are in the mood for Mexican cuisine. Notonly was the food great the waiting staff was phenomenal and very kind. The restaurant was filled with culture and color.However the location was one of the only downsides, it was very difficult to get to and even find parking, not to mention it wason the side of the busiest road In Eugene. I would recommend eating indoors as it feels like their outdoor seating is a parkinglot and the flies were a bother. Despite this whilst waiting for your food you are distracted with FREE chips and salsa and theyeven refilled the ships when we were done with the first basket. Read more

Ordered pick up via phone order. Whoever took the order was completely incompetent. I asked for 2 veggie enchilada plate with an... extra enchilada and a vegetarian option for the beans and rice. The girl on the phone said they don?t have that. And I saidreally because I?ve ordered it just like this before and you had it; there?s lard in the beans and rice. Her response was ?wellI didn?t know that?. BUYER BEWEAR! Anyway, when I received the order I only got 2 enchiladas not 3. And both were rang in asseparate plates (charging me for 2 meals instead of one plus a side enchilada). Additionally there was rice when I asked therenot to be. Only because I know they make their rice with animal product and again I?m vegetarian. The manager came up, Iexplained what happened and she was very validating, accommodating and understanding. She let me know it?s actually chickenstock they use in the rice and gave me a full refund. Thank you!! I understand Chulas is not a vegetarian restaurant by anymeans. We went on a Saturday night and it was about a 20-minute wait. The Mexican soup and tamale was a nice dinner. The salsa was good... and the chips weren?t too bad either. Good service and nice atmosphere. Food took a while to come out, but had good flavor. Themargaritas looked good and they also had Jarritos. Cheers ???? Read more
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!We visited this place for the first time and we are happy we choose to stop by this restaurant. People are so... nice and helpful. We've tried the fish burrito, fish taco and shrimp taco. Food is delicious!!!! A lot of shrimp in yourtaco,you can actually taste a real taco, with fresh cabbage. Also the dessert was so good! So far now,this restaurant will beour favorite,i will definitely recommend for all my friends! Read more
Chula's is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Eugene/Springfield area. Pricing is pretty decent for the amount of food you get.... I recommend the steak fajitas which always leave me full and satisfied. They've got some fun margarita options as well. Read more
