Reviews for Carson Dining Hall in Eugene, OR
It's a college cafeteria. They're in it for the $$. Pay an arm and a leg for the curriculum then get ripped off on food thats ... mediocre at best. Read more
Carson is good until you have the Carson Limited Meal plan. In my opinion, it is a good meal plan but beware, just like most of... my friends with the plan (and me), we are getting sick of the food. They repeat the same food every week. Tuesdays are alwaystaco Tuesdays, Friday is fried chicken and sandwiches and so on. It repeats. Most of us are just eating the pizza every mealtime because you can't really trust the chicken. Read more

Carson is way too expensive for what they serve. I arrived there in the middle of the lunch special to soon realize they were... out of the main course. This was after my girlfriend and I had paid for our meals. The rest of the options were lackluster, sowe decided to ask for a refund. When we went up to ask, the manager was very rude and said that there usually wasn?t much leftat this time anyway. I then asked why that was not expressed to us before we paid. She then finally caved and refunded one ofour meals and told us to leave and this whole ordeal happened before we ate anything from our plates. Overall I feel totallyripped off and I won?t be dining here again. Read more
This place is a delicious buffet that shattered my expectations for cafeteria food. Nice employees. The people here make great... work to make sure everything is cooked right and fresh. The diversity and variety per day is what makes this place always worthgoing to. Read more
The food here is actually pretty good, being that it's the most cafeteria-like dining hall on campus. The hours of service are a... little odd, though, and there are awkward breaks between meal times, during which there is not much food available. There'salways plenty of seating, even at peak times. Everything is usually very clean, too. It may be somewhat expensive (with apoint-based meal plan), but it's worth it most of the time. Read more
Good value if you have a meal plan. Not so much with cash. Decent food and a good selection. Always a salad bar, sandwich bar,... fruit and yoghurt, cereal and soup as well as desserts. Two main non vegetarian meals as well as one that is change on arotation with slight changes each term. Lots of dunk choices, hot and cold. And fried Fridays for lunch each week has amazingchicken tenders and curly fries. Read more
Great food, great service and ok music. Sometimes I don't like the music choice for eating.
