The atmosphere presented itself well in spite of the very questionable area and the staff was polite. While the pizza tasted... good enough the crust could have been crisper. It was a bit on the humid side. The salad had way too much vinegar. Much toomuch. But I was not happy when I got the billing. A hidden gem! I found Bari Trattoria by accident as I was walking through the Whiteaker district. Amazing Italian food and... drinks and the service was excellent. My server was Kenzie and she was very attentive even though I was a single diner. Theinside ambiance was very classy and relaxed and it was the perfect end to a long day. And then to top it all off, a friendlylittle cat friend walked through the door as I was leaving! Read more
This place was so disappointing. It has a very beautiful outdoor setting, and while our waitress was a nice lady, our food was... definitely not worth what we paid for. The crostini that we ordered as an appetizer was so small, it felt like it was anappetizer for the actual appetizer. And while that was actually delicious, The rest of the food that we ordered Was very verysubpar And tasted as if they had opened up frozen meals in the back and dumped them on our plate. Have only eaten here twice. First time ordered a basic spaghetti and it was SO tomatoey I didn't enjoy it. Second time, I went a... different route and enjoyed it. The desserts were quite disappointing. The description didn't include a mocha component and allshe could taste was coffee instead of chocolate cake. My dessert was good, but really dinky. Love their patio/deck. I mainly go for the appetizers and wood fired pizzas. Greco is my favorite, along with the polenta fries.... They have tasty drink selections as well. I generally get good service whenever I go. I love hitting this spot up once a monthor two. Read more
So disappointed. We tried Bari a year ago and it was amazing; a nice, generous piece of classic lasagna. We finally got back for... my birthday and, boy, were we duped! We completely agree with reviews that say the food isn't worth the price. Our "lasagna" wasa small bowl of melted cheese. I don't think it even had any meat in it, maybe two lasagna noodles. So glad we didn't getdessert! Our bill was $100 and we walked away very unsatisfied. We won't be back. Too bad, we had hopes for this place. Giventhe high price and low quality, my guess is they're struggling. Read more
