This is a small Italian restaurant that serves a large portion of food. The entrees are to die for. Choose your sauce, choose... your pasta, choose your protein. Our group all ordered different desserts and we loved them all. I recommend you call forreservations! Read more
Had an excellent meal here celebrating a family birthday. The place is small - maybe seats 50 total, but it is a family place. ... The staff was very attentive, answered our questions and made really good recommendations. Each of us ordered somethingdifferent and there was a lot of plate passing as the meal went on. They even asked if we wanted out salad later in the meal(bonus points!). Food was excellent, and while not a deep wines list, very good choices available at all prices. Finally, thedessert was fantastic! Since they knew we were there celebrating a birthday, they made a deconstructed canollo for each of us. Way above and beyond. Overall a great night. This was an incredible experience. We did the blind plate 5 course meal. We had a charcuterie board, caprese salad, two pastas,... an assortment of meats with fried onion rings and green beans, and spumoni for dessert. Mama Catena walked around the restaurantand talked with us. She made sure we were enjoying our meal and explained what everything was. The atmosphere was very cozy, andour waitress was very friendly and attentive. Also, there were a few birthday celebrations, and the waiter who sang had anincredible voice. If you haven?t been here - GO! We did the blind tasting five course meal with a wine flight on Friday night and every bite was... phenomenal. There?s something for everyone with pasta, fish, meat, etc, and if the tasting isn?t your thing their standard menuis also wonderful. The burrata ravioli in a white wine sauce was especially a hit, and the woman who prepares the tastingchecked in with us often to make sure we were enjoying everything and to give background on the dishes. Our waiter John wasawesome, and it was the coziest, friendliest restaurant I?ve been to in a very long time. Everyone came over to check on us andshare some kindness. This restaurant has been around for ever but after a fire a few years back they have remodeled everything from top to bottom on... the inside. The decor is very inviting, comfortable and clean! The menu is well done with an amazing selection. We decided togo with the "Blind Plate" where they choose the food items for you once they check on food allergies and things that you simplycan't eat. We had the 5 course meal, $55 a person, sooooooo much food. Everything we had from start to finish was amazing! Theowner came out to check on us, explained the food and kept coming back to make sure we loved everything. I can not say enoughabout how pleasant the staff and owners were, so friendly it was like a visit to my family. I loved this place so much!!!
