I've been to Thrive twice since I am into nutrition and loved this restaurant concept. Both times my experience has been marred... by the horrible service (I've been there both times Saturday brunch time). I am writing this review hoping the owner is able toread this. In my first experience, I asked the lady at the counter what would she recommend from a couple of options - I wasexpecting her to tell em a bit more about the 2 options I had in mind - she looked visibly annoyed and gave me a very short andunkind response. The food was nice. B bit pricey but I enjoyed it. In my second visit, I came in the restaurant and whilelooking at the brunch options the lady at the counter (same one) tells me they don't have the chia pudding that comes with thebrunch package ( not a kind tone, sounded like I was ordering food at a burger chain. Bad mood ) so my partner and I asked herif t there was something else that would come with the brunch package. Without looking at us she said "no". So basically wewere going to pay for an already expensive brunch which was not going to be served as advertised and we had to deal with unkindresponses. We left in that moment and will not be coming back. (we don't live in the area and we drove all the way therespecifically to have brunch at this place) My partner knows the owner and he knows how he put his soul into his business. I gave it another try? I thought I just had a bad experience before. So I ordered 2 bowls with extra black beans, added 2 small... salads to make it combo and 2 kombuchas came to $97 total. The Hercules bowl was appetizing and healthy. Their dishes looked very well prepared with artistic touches. The coffee was ok,... but nothing outstanding. A simple Keurig machine would go a long way. The little desert ball, ok. I would have preferredprices reflecting $3 less per plate. The service was fast and excellent. I recommend this place. I've eaten at Thrive several times but not on a frequent basis. I really enjoy the Hercules bowl. The chipotle oil and almond... hummus make this bowl very flavorful. The staff are very friendly and usually fairly quick. Price is a bit much. $3-4 off a bowlwould be more reasonable. Definitely worth trying! Read more

I?m not vegan, but I eat vegan mostly. It was my vegan friends and she choose this restaurant. I?m glad she did. The food was so... delicious. We?ll definitely go back. The Mexican Black Bean soup was really good. They have a cashew cookie that I fell in lovewith. There is parking in the back and a few in the front. Nice place with lots of healthy food choices, even the deserts seemed to be good for you. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten... free options are available. Our food was tasty and considering that it?s all organic, the prices are reasonable for that matter.The interior reminds me on a canteen, although it has some cozy corners.
