Worst restaurant experience I?ve had in many years. My brother wrote a previous review of our New Years Eve experience with... this restaurant but I just wanted to express the discomfort I felt with the way this establishment was operating considering theCovid-19 pandemic and restrictions in place. There were over 20 people at any time in the restaurant while we waited for overan hour for an order we placed earlier in the day for pick-up at 6:30pm. The customer service was appalling and clearly therestaurant has no idea how to run such a business. They clearly could not keep up with the demand but could not clearly evaluatethat beforehand or chose to ignore it. They turned off their phones so when we wanted a check on our order I was forced to gointo a crowded small space with no ventilation during a pandemic just to TRY and speak to someone. I had suggested my order becancelled - the reason for this was I realized the situation going on with all the patrons waiting for their orders AND Ididn?t want to wait around in the crowded space which was very dangerous given the health crisis we are currently in. Bycancelling the order this would have opened up time for someone else?s order to be completed and we could?ve vacated thepremises. Instead, one of the workers didn?t like my suggestion and said no, that my order was almost ready (it wasn?t). Atthis time, while I was waiting for someone to speak to me, I could see inside the kitchen. There were quite a few staff membersin that small space and some of them were not wearing masks- in fact, one woman was near the food with her mask below her noseand mouth. What was clear to me was this establishment does not care about the well-being of their staff or customers. The factthat they were not communicating anything with us about our orders shows that all they care about is the money and nothing else. The fact that they couldn?t recognize having so many people in a small space was dangerous under the circumst Read more

ordered dinner for our adult family of 4 for New Years Eve at 1:30 pm for pickup at 6:30 pm. Husband went to pick it up( 5... minutes away ) and after many calls he finally got home at 8:15 pm missing one of our most favourite dishes. He told them toforget it if he could just get the order. Of course the phone was off in the restaurant . He said the food delivery guys weregoing crazy as they also had to wait . My brother used to love this restaurant when he lived in the area,he would be really madat what has happened to it . Will never give it another chance. Read more

Was a regular patron of this restaurant long ago, and decided to try it again recently. The food was good, but the order was not... ready when I showed up for pickup. Not a huge issue, was only a 20 min wait, but the staff isn?t the best at communicating. Theycould have called ahead to let me know it wouldn?t be ready for the pickup time. The family and I decided to order for NYE 2020and oh boy what a mistake that was. We placed an order online through their system, at ~4pm for pickup at 6:30. Upon arrival mysister and I noticed that the restaurant was packed, and given the lockdown and restrictions we felt apprehensive about goingin. There had to have been somewhere between 15 and 25 in the place at any given time. Tried calling to get info on our order acouple of times, turned out they turned their phones off. We had no choice but to go in and stand less than 6 feet away frommultiple people, all while everyone is being ignored by staff. Inside it was absolutely silent, everyone waiting patiently fortheir food without even an idea on when they would be able to leave with their meals. Every time the cashier or another personcame out people would ask for an update and they would either be ignored or met with a ?it?s almost ready it?s being worked onnow?. After over half an hour my sister made her way to the front to ask if our order would be ready and was told they werejust making the vegetable fried rice. She then told the staff member that it was not safe in there given all the people and thatwe would need to wait outside to stay safe. The staff member ROLLED HER EYES and told her they would bring it out to us, despitenot even knowing where we were parked or taking down my sisters name or number. Half an hour went by with no update, we decidedenough was enough and went in to get an update. We couldn?t even find a staff member to ask for an update, so I stood on theseat of one of the benches to try and flag down the cashier the few times she actually Read more
