I went for lunch there today. Horrible food. It was frozen cold fish. I went to counter to get fresh warm fish and girl dumped... my half eaten fish into hot buffet and dug out warmer fish from bottom. I lost my appetite and called public health. If theydid that infront of me..oh dear God ..what do they do behind closed doors. Save your money...go elsewhere. Read more

I was a regular at this Sherway location before COVID, and this was my first time back in a couple of years. I was worried about... all of the negative reviews recently, but decided to try again anyway. The picture is of the Chili Chicken and fried rice. Ididn't notice any real difference between portion size from before, but my friend who used to go with me thought it might havebeen a slightly smaller portion. In any case, it was still more than enough for a lunch portion. Also, this combination was lessthan $10. Anyone who purchases a 2- or 3- meat or more combo thinking they're going to get more volume is mistaken - you'repaying for the variety, not amount. Which is why I only ever get the 1-meat & 1-veg/rice combo. I've never paid attention to the"customer service" - I mean, really, what kind of customer service does anyone expect in a busy mall's food court? She took myorder and slapped the food on the dish. I didn't notice any particular bad attitude (or good attitude for that matter). The sodafountain was out with a sign on it that said out of order, so I had to get my pop in a can. The only real issue I had was thatmost of the chicken pieces were not crispy, but that's somewhat par for course at any place serving off a steam table dependingon when you get served in relation to when the plate was put out. If you really care, watch for when they refill the tray andthen get in line. I gave 4 stars, but really it's a 3.5 rating since I can't give half stars. Read more

The food tasted good but I have been to other Szechuan Express locations so when I ordered my food I was very dissatisfied with... the portion. For $13 you would expect to get more for your money. Literally I got very little noodles which unfortunately can?treally see in the picture. I wouldn?t say I am a big eater but when the bottom of the container is empty before you even starteating you can tell you were under served what should be the filler. Definitely will not be returning to this location. Fromother reviews I can see that it really depends on who is serving you but that really shouldn?t matter when you?re paying thesame amount of money. Read more

I choose hofen ,mushroom and shrimp. Food was not horrible but the vegetables in the food were dry and tough. The portion for... the price was small compared with other takeout places. I got an impression that they were trying to put less amount. I askedthe server to give me the freshly made shrimp but he pretended he didn?t understand me. He put the dried shrimp and then tooksome away instead. Read more

Very bad food. I ordered the Shanghai curry noodles and for my veggie option the green beans and mushrooms with one spring roll.... Took 2 bites and threw it away. It tasted old and smelled off. The green beans were mushy --so overcooked that it leads me tothink this is food from previous day that is reheated again and again. Thank God I didn't order any of the meat as I wouldprobably have ended up sick. Also the vegetable springroll tasted so stale-- but worse there was cotton fuzz on it (see pic). DoNOT Eat here!! It's good Canadian Chinese food, the combos are a great deal - portion sizes are decent. The saucy meat & veg is just as tasty... as the battered, deep fried meats. Noodles over rice, but they can sometimes be dry. The dim sum is excellent - the shui mainever disappoints. The staff are quick and efficient. Read more
