I?ve been coming here since 87-88 when my dad used to take me here as a kid for burgers. I moved out of that part of the city... but I come back every year at least once. Place hasn?t changed. Quality is still top notch. Burgers are actually grilled, realmilkshake machine in the back, friendly staff, perfect place to go with the family or for a post joint snack. Have to say, been a customer for years. The quality has gone down hill quite a bit. Burgers have no flavour anymore, just... finding it blah. Staff always incredible. This is just super disappointing. Read more
This is like the old fashion burger place. I took my son here for his birthday dinner along with my daughter. The staff are very... friendly and helpful. The place is clean and tidy, well lite and well maintained. Read more
First time at magoos and it was like walking into an old school licks burger joint when they were around and they even have a... ice cream parlour! Great burgers! This is truly a phenomenal place. The food is very good but the people behind the counter are even more amazing. They had the... patience and interest to tell me about each topping and the menu item I was interested in, including what the ingredients were..it seemed like a beautiful family run place. A real hidden gem. I got the vegetarian veggie burger and poutine fries. Thewonderful, older, lady behind the counter clarified to me that the brown gravy wasn't beef. A really interesting topping for theburger were sprouts, absolutely stunning and crunchy and healthy. I wish they had another outlet closer to downtown. First time visiting Magoo?s. I enjoyed it a lot. The menu is small, but what they serve they do an excellent job at. The staff... were awesome, great energy very friendly.
