All I can say is WOW! The food is SO good, I?ve been to a lot of brunch places and I usually feel underwhelmed by the food but... this place beats so many in Toronto. This is definitely one of the best brunch meals I?ve had in a long time. We had the fishand chips and the Eggs Benny with an upgrade to the salmon and both were delicious. The fish was fried to perfection with a thincrispy batter and the smoked salmon was generous, fresh and tasty. The eggs were cooked perfectly and somehow tasted supercreamy and didn't have that taste of vinegar that sometimes lingers on poached eggs at some places. Small details like addingchives on top made the eggs even tastier! The sides were also delicious - from the salad, fries, mushy peas and coleslaw (whichI?m usually not a fan of). The prices were also fantastic, especially for the quality of food and the generousportions. Service was also top notch. It was quiet weekday afternoon but our server was lovely and friendly. We even got tochatting about life in England vs. Toronto. We also purchased some of their frozen pies - I?ve tried the chicken and bacon oneso far and that was also very good. Creamy, with a good amount of filling and very flavourful bacon. My mom and I had a lovelyafternoon meal here and I can't wait to bring the rest of my family here. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I will bea long-time repeat customer. Read more
Great place for brunch. Good mimosas, felt like they had freshly squeezed orange juice for the mix. We ordered for the Pork... belly benedict with fries and salad (half and half) and Chicken on waffles with cranberry sauce. Eggs were really good, smallpieces of pork belly though. Chicken waffles were on the sweeter side, be mindful before ordering for this. If you're not intosweet breakfast, maybe you could request them for the sauce to be served on the side. The ambiance was nice. Very cozy. I'msure this place must be crowded during the summers. They don't take reservations for brunch, it's first come first serve basis. Read more
Great place to dine in! Very cozy and clean decor, with a large menu for breakfast or brunch. You can also purchase premade food... like pies, which I will try next time. Servers are very nice and efficient. The food is very tasty and served in generousportions. We ordered the half breakfast and the breakfast poutine. Wait time was average even though we went at a busytime. Very bustling place, everyone seems to know this is a visit-worthy restaurant! Read more

It?s nice to see a jam packed restaurant again! Line up out the door after 10:30am. My wife and I just beat the line and our... experience was fantastic. Great service, delicious eggs Benny, side of French toast was spot on. The dishes coming out of thekitchen all looked delicious and massive portions. Highly recommend for brunch, nothing like it in the area! Also bought 4homemade pies for $30. We will be back! Read more
I'm a brunch girl and I'm a picky one. I've tried many places in Toronto and I only have a few favourites. Kitchen On Sixth was... a spot I never heard of but we decided to give it a try. Huge line, long wait, almost quit. But it was so worth it. The foodhere was amazing and the mimosas...yum! I'm going to be back very soon! Read more
Suggested to try this place out, and went with a group of 3 other friends this occasion. Overall experience I would give 3.5. We... went in a Tuesday, so it was taco night and tacos were $5/ each. Food and prices: 3 Service: 3.5 I found the service to befairly slow. We all ordered our starters and mains, and while the starters came out in about 20-30 minutes (tomato soup, 1 taco, and and beef tartar), it took another 20-30 minutes to get our main dishes (we ordered some tacos, fish and chips, lamb, etc.).All of us finished drinks and was already in the second round before the food got there. Not to mention, not all of us weredrinking alcohol, and we ran out of water at the table very quickly. I saw some tables got to keep the bottle of water at thetable, and I wish that was offered to us instead of bugging the servers all the time. Anyways, I got all 3 of the tacos thatwere offered that night (chicken, beef, and okra), and as mentioned above, they were $5 each. The beef taco was definitely thebest one, the jerk chicken taco was so spicy (and since the water wasn?t constantly replenished, I had nothing to wash the spicedown with), and the okra taco was very underwhelming (as seen in the picture) literally had very little amount of substance inthe actual taco. You would think, since it was a vegan taco, that they would be more generous on the toppings. But it cost me$15 for 3 tacos - I?m not sure what I was expecting in regards to the taco (I know they aren?t a Mexican restaurant specializingin tacos), but I felt underwhelmed by everything. The one good thing I want to note was that they did allow us to stay at therestaurant after well they closed. Although, we weren?t the only ones at the restaurant, and no one approached us to get out, sowe weren?t really sure what was happening. It was a great experience to try a new place out, and maybe it was because I orderedthe wrong thing, food was mediocre at best, but this sums up my experience at the Kitchen on Read more
