*BEST SUSHI EXPERIENCE IN TORONTO* Thank you so much for a wonderful birthday dinner experience!! The sushi was fresh,... delicious, and served in the gourmet method for a good price - with a bit of wasabi in between the sashimi and the rice! Therolls were a generous size, we ordered too much and they helped us pack it away for us! The server saw that I was wearing afancy dress, since we came for dinner after an event, so he gave me an apron to cover my dress! He also gave us a complimentaryappetizer, and had such cordial service all throughout the dinner! There were regulars next to us who made it an even warmeratmosphere, and we could see the sushi chef work their magic, so it was an overall lovely vibe! Looks like the reviews say thatordering based on the chef’s special, instead of selecting our own plates, is a great recommendation, so I will likely trythat next time! I was amazed by the owner of the restaurant by how nice, thoughtful and friendly he was to our family, especially my 10 months... old daughter. We sat at the long table where we can see the chefs work therefore my daughter's head was about the table's high (we insisted to be seated there). The owner came and put some folded napkins and tape them on the table edge just about mydaughter's head to make sure even she bang her head to the table, it wouldn't hurt her. I’m flawed by their customer service and the delicious food. Tried the tempura and the vegetable roll- both tasted excellent!... Mainly though, we were filled with warmth when we left this restaurant because their customer service is beyond anything I’veseen in Toronto. So thoughtful in every step- whether it was personally putting the apron on me since I was wearing white orgiving us extra candies at the end, or packing a side of noodles for the to-go box- absolutely heartwarming. Hope everyrestaurant in GTA can learn from them and treat customers so graciously. Read more
Great place for Japanese cuisine. Good selection of tempura and chicken Teriyaki. Excellent service.
Was busy on a Monday night. Food was generous. Bento boxes had a lot of variety. We saw several sushi boats that looked great... as were eating our meals. Friendly staff that gave us some snacks because we were waiting a little. Would not hesitate to comeback. Read more
I was so refreshed after eating here. The staff are the original team from when they opened over 20years ago in this location in... Etobicoke! I ordered the karaage, which was really well made and juicy. The Canadian roll, which comes with a specialgarlic-heavy soya mixture that was refreshing - the waiter even came by to explain the best way to eat the roll. I had anotherroll which I forget the name of, but it was deep fried well and not greasy at all. The side salad that had some chicken in itwas a real surprise (it came as a complimentary item) and had an interesting kick to it. I hope to come again soon, and youshould too! Read more
I love their selection of sashimi/sushi where you can find more rare ones such as tuna belly, sea urchin, scallops, squid that... are usually not as common or available at other restaurants in this area. Server is always super nice and gives us complimentaryfood. I will recommend this restaurant :) Read more
