Reviews for The Egg of Estes in Estes Park, CO
Cute spot for breakfast/brunch! Our food took a little longer to arrive and portion sizes were smaller than expected, but you... have to try their pancakes? they are seriously fluffy and amazing! Stick to ordering breakfast food here (sandwiches weredisappointing?). Nice vibes overall :) Read more
We had the hikers & veggie Benedict's and they were fantastic! Probably the best Benedict I've ever had. The potatoes were... seasoned perfectly and were soft & crisp. I cannot imagine there's a better place to grab breakfast/ brunch in Estes Park. Read more
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Hiker's Benedict was cooked well. One of the eggs was slightly overdone where it doesn't run as you... cut it open. The other was spot on though! Asparagus, tomatoes, and mushroom can get very watery but it was done well. There's abit of saltiness from the ham and bacon, a hint of sweetness from the tomatoes, and earthiness from the mushroom thatcompliments each other. Can't really taste the dill in the hollandaise sauce though. The dressed greens were very sour andtasted mostly of vinegar Texas Steak Skillet was savory and filling. Huge serving but could have used more bell peppers to cutthrough the heaviness from the steak and potatoes. They were surprisingly generous with the steak but it was a bit on the drierside. The scrambled egg wasn't much of a scramble but was fluffy with a milky undertone Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Ataround 9:45 AM on a Saturday, there was a line out the door to put their name down for tables and to pay for their checks. Thereare a few tables outside with umbrellas. Service: 5/5 - while it was crazy busy, the hosts and servers were still friendly. There were some language issues and each person has a particular role so they are unable to assist in other tasks Value forprice: 5/5 - reasonable price with good food. Worth the wait! Note that the online pricing on their website is outdated and thisis where all the QR codes lead you!! Read more

Family friendly, American standard fare. This little restaurant serves basic American cuisine with a slight twist of... ingredients and flaire that makes the dishes better. I have the bacon/avacado scramble and it was delicious. The dining spaceis a bit small and they maximize the seating as best they can but if you have a party of more than six small people, you're notgoing to be able to sit together. I suspect this place gets busy during peak tourist seasons and on weekends in the off season. I suggest going early if you're planning to have breakfast. Enjoy. Read more
If you're in Estes Park, don't overlook The Egg of Estes. It can get busy sometimes, but the wait was never more than 15 minutes... or so, and the food is worth the wait. We visited 3 times during our trip and it was great every time. My favorite was theavacado scramble, and their waffles are awesome! The prices are more than reasonable and it's a perfect place to get some foodand warm up with some coffee before spending the day at Rocky Mountain National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed it and willabsolutely be revisiting when we come back to Estes Park. Read more
