Loved this place. We stopped by on our way to the Rocky Mountains. We were travelling with family and they’re not particularly... fans of beef and they don’t eat pork. This place had a lot of options and they all turned out really good. We got the chickensteak and the server told us that the sauce has pork in it, so we got it without the sauce. Even then the meal was realllyreally good. And kudos to the staff for letting us know without us even asking. Loved this place and will definitely be back formore. <3 Read more
Excellent BBQ! We’re from Texas, and picky about our BBQ, and Smokin’ Dave’s did not disappoint. In fact, we ate here... twice in our 3 day visit to Estes Park. The first time we visited, we ordered the family meal with a little bit of everything.My husband and one of our sons loved the ribs, and our other son and I loved the pulled pork. The pulled pork is out of thisworld! And the cornbread is divine! This place will definitely be on our list of places to eat every time we’re in town! Read more
This is awesome! Don’t let the rural location influence expectations.Food was absolutely amazing with huge portions and the... service was phenomenal. Really really good BBQ! I got the Dave's double smokin' platter with Carolina pulled pork and Texas beef brisket along with... their smashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. And to top it off it came with some cornbread. Plenty of food and well worththe cost. The waiter was nice, fast at taking orders and attentive. Seated and served fast for being pretty busy. I also triedsome fries and they were good as well. The only bad thing was that the bathrooms were very small and awkward to get in otherthan that very good experience and would recommend going! Very nice surprise. Really good Bar B Que. I had Carolina pulled port with two side and it was great. Others had pulled pork... salad and mushroom appetizer. All was good and our server was the best. Read more
What's there to say? If you like food, stop looking for something to jump out at you. Let this review be what jumps out at you.... EAT HERE! Food is incredible, prices are reasonable, service is fantastic and you can't ask for a better area than Estes Parkto be eating BBQ delicasies. Sorry to say, we ate our plates so fast the only picture I was able to take was an emptyplate. If you've read this far in the review, you've already spent too much time researching. What a treat! Anything you order will delight you, I recommend the fish and chips, well prepared thick slice of fish with a... crunch crust that tastes like it was done with love. Buffalo ribs, a little dry, but the flavor made it for the lack of fat,completely natural since Buffalo is leaner. “The brisket is the only thing I didn’t like, dry and it seems like it was oldand overcooked. “ The hamburger is juicy, thick patty well seasoned. During rush hour the service may be slow and that’swhy 4 stars is my fair assessment. Read more
The good: the food was great! You also get a lot of food for your money. I had the brisket and pork ribs and both were tender... and tasty. Our server was friendly and attentive. The reason I dropped a star was cleanliness. The floors were very messy, therewere several flies (three or four by our tables window), and an inch or more of dust on the large metal light fixture hangingover our table. Read more
