Great place to get some hardy comfort food for breakfast. It has a nice woodsy feel and seems like a place locals go as well as... the tourist. There was wait to get in but The order came out fast and was hot at our table in less than 10mins. The staff wasnice and offered suggestions by asking questions. This was really helpful. Read more

This breakfast is AMAZING! Everything had great flavor. We got the banana bread French toast, cave man hash and then an English... muffin with eggs, bacon and avocado. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Great service too and reasonably priced. Wouldgive 6 stars if I could! Read more

My husband and I had breakfast here. It's a nice restaurant with plenty of breakfast choices. The food was very good, I got the... mexican breakfast and it was spicy and delicious, my husband had the Denver omelet and he enjoyed it, too. We also got thebanana bread french toast, it was tasty. The service was awful, just horrible. Our server (Luca) messed up so bad and didn'teven acknowledge it. 1. We asked for more coffee, took him at least 20 minutes to bring it and when he poured it, it went on thetable and into my husband's breakfast plate! His breakfast was swimming in coffee, then coffee started to drip on my side andgot on me. We didn't even have napkins to stop it. 2. My breakfast should have come with tortillas, I didn't get them so I askedfor them, it took 25 minutes for me to get them, by then I was done with my food. The server said he wasn't going to charge mefor them! What? They were included with my plate but I guess he would have charged me for them. I'm very patient but this wasnot OK, very disappointed. I wanted to file a complaint against the server but my husband just wanted to leave. Please trainyour servers, I know they work hard but we got charged full price so I just expect full service from someone who knows whatthey're doing or at least apologizes and fixes the problem. Again, very good food but horrible service. Read more

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Chicken fried steak and sunny side up eggs had a large serving but the eggs were burst when we opened... the container to eat. It was a bit over cooked and not enough gravy but it was crispy on the outside Dragon's Egg Rock Benedicthas a kick to the sauce which is quite interesting on a Benedict. Really enjoyed that it was more of a pancake rather thanEnglish muffin since it was soft and absorbed the sauce on top well. Impressed by the seasoning on the potatoes sinceketchup/sauce wasn't really needed Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go, their bakery display was a little sad :( Service: 2/5 -we did come about 30 minutes before closing so they were a bit frustrated that we wanted to order food to go as they were eatingthemselves and cleaning up. They were mostly conversing in Spanish Value for price: 4/5 - pricer but larger servings Read more

Amazing food, good selection, and staff you can tell puts their soul into the place. They even grind their own sausage to boot!... They also make the best Coconut Cream Pie I've ever had. I've worked in a lot of restaurants and have eaten a lot of pie. Thisis made from scratch. Real coconut filling (not vanilla pudding with flavoring added) and real whipping cream. Read more

5-22-22: Awesome breakfast at Notchtop. The service was good and the food was delicious. The carnivore omelet was spot on. ... The homemade sourdough bread was awesome. My wife?s scramble was very good. It came with some of the freshest fruit I?ve beenserved. We always enjoy supporting the mom & pop stores. What we really liked was the fact they use natural ingredients, organic, non-gmo, etc. Not many places make the effort to provide superior products. The prices were well within reason ofother restaurants. We?ll be back. Read more

We are in Estes park area for winter holidays and visited Notchtop Bakery and Cafe for Breakfast! We ordered Banana Bread... French Toast, Veggie Burritos and Fresh orange juice! We really liked their french toast and orange juice was indeed freshlysqueezed! Our server was very nice! They are also very generous with their portion. Burrito was good in taste and had a lot offillings, eggs, beans, spinach etc. However, I thought that there was no flavor inside the burrito fillings. I think scrambledeggs and veggies should have had some salt and pepper! Overall, a good experience! Read more
